Greetings Rollitup!

I decided to start germinating my newest purchase of seeds. I am really interested in finding out if these DNA freebies are anything to brag about. Hopefully they are! :lol:

Lights: Vegging - 432W 5000k T5 (8x4ft) Flowering: 400W AgroMax HPS w/Digital Greenhouse ballast
Medium: Fox Farm Ocean Forest
Nutes: Fox Farm Grow Big, Tiger Bloom. I may also purchase Beastie Bloomz down the road.

So, what are we working with?

1x DNA Genetics Kushberry x Skunk
1x DNA Genetics Kandy Kush x Skunk
4x Green House Seeds "The Church"

I am planning on topping all the plants to achieve 4 main colas. Aiming for a 5-week veg period. I will upload photos in the next couple days; I am still waiting on two seeds to germinate. The others are already in their pots. Let the good times roll... :bigjoint:

I apologize for the late reply everyone. I did start this grow and it is still going; but I've got no pictures to show right now. For the past couple weeks I've been having major heat issues with my vegging room (the sun faces it most of the day) and I just can't control it while being at work all day. Sooo the room got to over 94*F at times...so you can guess that shit hit the fan. One of the "The Church" seedlings died and almost all other seedlings suffered heat stress. They have since recovered and starting to grow more and more everyday now. They have stretched a lot more than what I wanted; but this was due to me raising the T-5's quite a bit because of the major heat problem.

Anyways, I am quite surprised at the DNA/Reserva Privada freebies; they are showing much faster growth compared to the GHS The Church plants. I will try to upload some photos later today or tomorrow.

Alright guys we have some photos! Keep in mind, all of them suffered major heat stress and it pretty much stunted their growth; hoping this aint gonna be a hermie run! :idea:

I've lowered the T-5's a couple inches since the plants have been stretching more than I was hoping they would. They all seem to be growing more and more everyday now.

I've also decided to throw in a OG18xSkunk seed which is in the process of popping through the soil as we speak, and a DNA Genetics Hashplant Haze. It was a freebie and I've heard good things about it so I'm hoping i'll like it. It's currently in a party cup but in a week I will transplant into a 1-gallon container.

Anyways, here's the pics! :leaf:

Thanks man, you got any pics of yours? Here's a couple new ones from tonight just before the lights went off. Going to water them again tomorrow. Didn't include shots of the Hashplant Haze nor the OG18xSkunk, they're doing good though.

One thing that did happen today was when I was alternating the light bulbs in the fixture, I guess I might have blown one of the ballasts or w/e that powers 2 bulbs. After I rearranged the bulbs, 2 wont turn on anymore. I tried switching bulbs around but they just wont turn on anymore. Thoughts?

This is one awesome grow journal lol! Sorry about the lack of updates...been very busy! The T-5 I was using just wasn't working as well as I thought it would so I moved everything into the flowering room a couple weeks ago under the 400w hps. to my surprise, all the DNA freebies I decided to grow are female!!! Im crossing fingers they don't hermie. I'm flowering them all way too soon but I'm just going to finish this grow and start back up under my 400w MH. I'll upload some pics tomorrow!

i have a church seed sprouted now. part of my new grow, which i will have a journal on shortly. i am excited to see what comes of yours here, i've never really heard this strain before. the seed came in a green coating of some sort? weird.

good luck on the grow. I have one OG X Kushberry thats roughly 45 days into flowering under a 150w HPS; the trichomes are still clear (a few are cloudy) so I am just waiting till she's ready. It has a very sweet smell and in the past week the buds have begun to put on considerably more mass. If anyone is interested in a pictures I will upload. but until then, good luck and happy growing man!
