Day 51 of flower

Temp 24hrs: 50 - 70
RH 24hrs: 47 - 72

Plants got only water again this morning, 1.5L each. All three still looking lovely. Sanitized the trim bin, shears, and drying rack in prep for first chop likely happening this weekend. No more pics until then, though, because I can’t reach the light controller to change to all white spectrum...there’s just too many swollen, sparkling buds clustered around it...

Awesome looking girls. I'm impressed with that led light. Just to clarify, you only used that one light right? No supplemental side lighting?
Very curious to see how the buds come out and what you end up getting, although I know you care about quality over quantity

Thank you for the good vibes! It has just been the one LED, and I’ve been very impressed with it, starting from seed through to flower. I did plan on using supplemental lighting, but the veg cycle didn’t seem to need any, and I wasn’t able to sort out a good spot to put one for flowering once the plants started to stretch out so much. With the current look of the buds, I’m now doubting any supplemental is necessary (but maybe it could help with the lower bud airy-ness). Next run I’m hopefully going to figure out how to fit in one bar light for flower, just for a comparison. It’ll be a shorter veg time by 2-4 weeks, so there will be more space.

I’m hoping to pull at least 6 ozs of top-shelf bud in total. Any above that is icing on the cake. I’ll make sure to update the journal with a final dry-weight tally of the good, non-larfy buds. Unfortunately, some of the best buds do have some light bleaching, but only a smoke will tell if it’s impacted their potency much.

Plants have been on the same water-only cycle all week, and are really finishing off nicely. CH has a great fade going, right on time for its 8 week flowering schedule. I pulled off a small tester, and though it smells and looks tasty, the trichs all look milky white through a jewelers loupe (don’t see any amber at all). I’m going to wait until Monday morning to start harvesting CH, and then start SK’s chop on Wednesday.

Tester CH...frosty, sticky, and does indeed smell strongly like melon and haze...

The harvest of Cannalope Haze has begun! About halfway done with today’s chopping, and happy as a clam at the aroma, density, and crystal coverage on this lovely lady. The lower temps recently even brought out some unexpected purple on several buds, which will hopefully stay vivid after dry & cure. The four top colas are light bleached a bit, but are hard as rocks and super fragrant, so I’m hopeful potency is unaffected. One of the top colas had an odd color on the inside that could be just the color of the light damaged leaves, but I don’t want to risk that it’s fungus, so I set that one apart from the others. I didn’t see any color like that on the other buds, which are hanging in the drying rack now.

I’m not weighing things wet, but will definitely tally dry weight when buds are ready. Back to work on more CH harvest now...

Right on. I’m stoked with the light performance, and definitely glad I got the programmable controller with it. Got lucky to get it discounted on a grower supplier website’s cyber Monday sale last year. Good luck with your growing!

Nice.
CH doesn't do lot of side branching but u top it nice.
Ur LED looks nice, big canopy and you can probably grow massive OG's with that
Thank you for the good vibes! I would definitely dig seeing an OG like Platinum or WiFi grow out in there. Hopefully someday...

That CH looks tasty as hell. Looking forward to the smoke report.
It’s so tempting to smoke it early...having to really force myself to wait until it’s dry. I’ll make sure to do a thorough smoke report when it’s cured and (hopefully) the taste comes out strong. Really appreciate your support along the way, bud!

The chop of Sour Kosher started today! Really is a gorgeous plant, got some groovy low-temp-purple hues, and my pics do not do it justice at all. Aroma is grape candy mothballs, sweet with a hint of power behind it. Yield looks to be the best of the three plants, and the nugs are rock dense. Very impressed with this SK...had a hard time not drooling all over it while trimming...

Second chop of SK done. Some of the buds only smell of Kosher Kush, while others are blasting out the strong, sweet grape aroma. Really an interesting plant...stacked great too...

KB got 1.2L of water this morning, and looking groovy for a first chop in a couple days. Got in another small chop of lowers from SK yesterday, with only a handful of small buds left to get some more light. When I was doing that, I noticed that two KB branches had bent down to the point of breaking, so I snipped them off even though they’re a bit early. The aroma while trimming was incredible...a loud blast of berry perfume that just lingered in the air. Really looking forward to trimming it this Monday...

Two KB buds are on the right:

Was a great grow CAS...enjoyed following along and the buds look beautimus ! Great job
Thank you for the good vibes - I really appreciate it, bud! This grow did come together well, but still a few things I’ve got to improve on. Not that I have any complaints...this is the best herb I’ve grown yet, no doubt. But if I tighten up a few minor mistakes, I know I can do better.

Looking forward to seeing how your Strawberry Cough & Sunshine Daydream grow goes!
