Thats alot of work. If I had the ability to run experiments,in a rec state I would try some shit like this.
I have to be discreet though, so it's tough.
I have always wanted to try something like this except maybe the opposite. Start some now outside and bring them in in october before they get humongous and run em 12 12 until they are ready.
I was just gifted some fire seeds from the genourous folks over in paradise forum
Ya it is work for sure but it can be done. Id like to b in rec state too. Mine will b rec in 6 mo ths but only med card holders can grow..

Thought I would inject some life back into this thread.. @Stephenj37826

I saw your had the QB132 4000k V2 for $100 on Amazon. They were all sold that night. Will you be restocking Amazon or having a sale in the future on these? Being from Canada we get dinged pretty good with duties and exchange rate so any discount brings the pain down.

As well if you have any word on the UVA UVB you had mentioned. I would purchase. Is there any timeline on the UVA UVB?

Sup dudes and dudettes. I gotta inquiry for yall.

But first, im currently running a qb301 with 240-2100c or something driver ;-). Wired in series, and at 2100ma thats 100w per board. Good for my 3x3 space.

But we looking to go further. Question is:
Can i run 5 qb288 v2 on a hlg-600h-54 in series? Hlg faq only states this driver with parallel systems. Im not against parallel setups, just not familiar.

Sorry if this has been touched on already, kindly point me in the right direction if so.

Cheers my trichomies!

No, not in series, but you could do parallel connections.

You could add a second HLG 240H C2100 a/b driver and a HLG 120H 54 a/b for a single board ( I do this ). This will provide redundancy on your set up. From what I have read you can do 5 boards on a HLG 600H 54 a/b, They should be the same version from what I understand.

Thanks much sir! The spec on the driver mentioned constant v and a, but i concede.

Is it true thermal runaway on hlgs qbs is not much of an issue? Any suggestions for precautions?

I run 4 qb324v2 and 4 atreum 360s on one hlg-600h-54a. I've never had a problem.

Yeah man I called him Monday and we talked. He said the machine that makes the light is down or something. I asked him to send me some sabers instead of waiting and he said ok. I forgot to ask him if he could send me a tracking number by the end of the week (I hope). I’ve been patient this long, so far.

Redundancy is def a perk; better safe than sorry! So i get it straight, you run two 240s and a 120. I'll have to run the costing on drivers compared to just one 600.

Ill def play with that idea, thanks man. I wonder what the wiring would look like running 4 of these fixtures in a 10x12 room. I guess just a simple 4 plug box for each fixtures power source.
