Would a slate 6 with 4 boards on the 600 driver do good in a 5x5 tent? i'm asking because looking to upgrade from my 4x4.
That's what I use but it's long and narrow so it makes you want to fill in with side lighting

Haven't grown Ducksfoot in about a year. This sprouted in one of my auto pots so I let it grow.Seed must have been dormant a long time. As I keep the pots moist even when I'm not using them ( I never change the soil ), I'm surprized the seed didn't rot. She sure is looking good!

How have your results been with the slate 6 in the 5x5?
Pretty good with what I have but two factors are new for me. 1) It is my first LED after using 1000HPS rigs forever, and 2) I have not grown in this small of space since 2012.

The Slate 6 is long and narrow. To that extent, it really appears that two would fit perfectly side by side. The challenge then is that you are really dealing with about 900W+ I feel that a more adequate amount of light might be provided by six QB288 and not four.

What you may not be able to tell in the attached picture is that the Slate is slid forward toward the door, as are the plants. once these are flipped in a week or so I will space it all out. They just went through a massive haircut yesterday.

This is my first time getting a clear view at the slate 6. It is most def on the narrow side.

How much have you pulled from that tent with the slate 6?

Are you preparing your plants for the difference? I can already see signs of white LedDefficiency, that you prob aren't used too? Adjustments may need to be made. GoodLuck!

Ya you could probably bump up macronutes and get a bit more life into them. But personally never experieced feed differences between my led switch. Although im over abundant in most cases with macros.

You in Coco?
What the hell is "white Led Deficiency"?? Unless your suggesting his plants have a Cal/mag issue, that's a nonsense statement
Yup, its a real term used to define the multitude of defficencies many strains will experience under white led in CoCo if one has not made the necessary adjustments. He's just now switching over from hps so he's best to learn this stuff now before experiencing Huge losses like i & many others have.
Even the local Grow Stores that are just now getting hip to led supply free Mag-Amp with every Fluence, Gavita or white led purchase. They discuss the Real Thing LedDefficiency at the stores & recognize it for what it is.
If you're in soil, chances are you're good already.

Do you have a journal or any photos of your grow you can share?
I don't really take pics anymore. In coco I just go Jack's 321 from clone to harvest in 5 gal pots if I ever have an issue a little Epsom or a pH adjust fixes it I've never had to use Cal/mag
