Day 60 (32 days flowrering)

Cal-mag won't arrive until tomorrow night. Brought home some Epsom salt. Put 1tsp in a gallon of plain h2o. Will water that way tonight.

That will at least give it a magnesium supplement. My next watering will be cal-mag and some big Bloom/tiger bloom

Day 61 (33 days flowering)

For the first time in this grow, I feel like a newbie grower. The rust spots have gotten a bit bigger, even after last night's 1tsp of Epsom salt + 1 gallon distilled water.

Cal-mag arrived this afternoon. I'm not due to water again for 24 hours, but I'm worried about it getting worse. Im thinking about giving it just 1/4 gallon tonight and 3/4 gallon tomorrow at nromak watering interval. Just so it can get the calcium/maegnesium/iron supplement sooner.

I'd be open to suggestions at this point, here's some pics.

pH of distilled water is 6.8. runoff pH 6.5. it's not over watering because the pot îs bone dry in 48 hours, light as a feather. Always used grow big and tiger bloom at 1/2tsp or less almost every feeding. Big Bloom usually 1/2 to 1tsp. Temps range from 71-78. Humidity 35-45%.

Day 62 (34 days flowering)

Watering today. Will be giving 1.5 gallons which includes 1.5tsp of cal-mag as well some fox farms nutes. Hopefully this does the trick and I nip this deficiency in the butt. After looking at the pictures from yesterday, the leaves look like they are a little hungry too, thus the added nutes.

Day 63 (35 days flowering)

Rust spots haveng spread too much this morning, but I did notice a few sugar leaves have some spots. I ended up only feeding 1 gallon of water yesterday as I had enough runoff by then.

We will see how they look tonight. I may be forced to do a complete flush tomorrow and then feed again. I sure hope not, everything was going well til this issue.

Day 64 (36 days flowering)

Not much (if any) change in the rust/yellow spots. My feeding of all my nutes + cal-mag seemed to have worked. Hopefully by this evening it will look the same. If that's the case and it looks the same, I will give another feeding. If it looks worse this evening, I will be taking advantage of this water day and I will be flushing completely.

Fed again tonight. 1tsp big bloom, 1/2tsp tiger bloom, 1 tsp cal-mag per gallon. Mixed 2 gallons, used about 1.5 gallons. We will see how she looks in the morning. If she looks worse tomorrow, I will have ruled out deficiency. My next course of action would be flushing the soil completely on Friday (next water day) and repotting in a 5 gallon grow pot. That would take care of any nute lockout issue or root bound issue.

Day 65 (37 days flowering)

Spots have not gotten bigger in 2 days, so I guess that means she had a cal-mag deficiency.

I hit her hard the watering yesterday. If she was over watered, root bound, nute burnt or nute lockout, she would have worsened fast and probably lost half her leaves by now.

She was a beauty at one point. Forgive me for the pics going forward.

Day 66 (38 days flowering)

Plant seemed fine this morning. Watered today with one gallon of h2o with 1tsp cal-mag mixed in. I had another gallon ready, but I got enough runoff with the first gallon. See a couple dozen red hairs on the main cola, as well as some swelling in those areas.

Day 67 (39 days flowering)

Plant has recovered from the cal-mag deficiency. No new spotting or yellowing in 3-4 days. Hairs are starting to turn red and the buds are starting to swell.

Added a pic of my GSC auto that has been on 12/12 from seed and is 21 days old.

Day 69 (41 days flowering)

Almost 6 weeks into flower now. Top cola has a lot more red hairs receding this morning. The lower buds are still mostly white hairs. I can see myself harvesting the top cola in 4-5 weeks and then raising up the rest of the plant for a week or so to ripen.

Day 70 (42 days flowering)

Today marks 10 weeks from seed. 6 weeks flowering. I'll be giving water again today, with 1 gallon of distilled water mixed with 1tsp cal-mag, 1tsp big bloom and 1/2tsp of tiger bloom. Last 2 waterings were just cal-mag. Since it looks like this things has another good 4-5 weeks left, i'll feed big bloom/tiger bloom 1-2 more times before tapering off all nutes.

After some inspection this morning, the plant has hermied on me. :finger:

I noticed some haulted growth 2 weeks ago when I ran into my cal-mag deficiency, chalked it up to just that. But apparently that stressed it to the point it starting pollenating itself. I found 3 pollen sacs very low, attached to the main stem where the branches meet. Their was also a small leafy cluster on the first node. It was small enough that I ripped it off the plant just to check it out. Once I inspected that cluster, their was 3 semi hard seeds inside it. I got a bowl of water and did my best to grab the entire pollen sack and submerge it in water.

I'll have to do some more inspecting when lights come on... not the way to start the day. :wall:

Day 74 (46 days flowering)

Spent an hour this morning looking the plant over. Didn't find any other pollen sacs or male flowers. Have yet to see any bananas. Still concerned about the lack of growth the past 2 weeks, afraid their is seed activity going on in each bud site. *fingers crossed*

I will continue to monitor.

Just looking at it I’d say that plant still has at least 2 weeks left. That looked like a sulfur/mag/potassium deficency hard to tell which one from the one picture I looked at.

Thanks for the response. The deficiency came on fast, rust spots one day, half the fan leaves affected 36 hours later. Started cal-mag that day and it never got worse.

Day 76 (48 days flowering)

Still waiting to see signs of bananas or any developing seed pods, but I've seen nothing. The entire main cola area and main stem is just covered in frosty goodness. It's hard to even get a look anywhere on the bud areas. I see some calyx swelling and hairs receding/reddening.

I'll be watering again today. 1 gallon of distilled water with 1tsp cal-mag. I see no signs of the plant being hungry. All fan leaves are green and healthy (except for the damage done by cal-mag deficiency). I'm going to try and make it the rest of the way without any nutrients. 2-3 more weeks.
