Day 98 (70 days flowering)

Today is 10 weeks of flowering complete! It's been given just h2o for 2 weeks. Today I'm adding 1tsp cal-mag, only because this thing is still going to go 2 more weeks at least. I'll update with some pics when lights come on.

Day 99 (71 days flowering)

I've been looking over the results from my first indoor grow 10 years ago that is documented on this site also (DIFF's Indoor Grow Journal). I had 2 bag seed plants that went 13 weeks (hermie) and 14 weeks (female) of flowering. I vegged them for 28 days just like the bag seed plant I have now.

The hermie gave me only 1 OZ of bud with the lower small nugs having mostly seeds. Largest cola was unseeded but wasn't as potent as the non seeded female that yielded 3 OZ of bud.

My bag seed plant (hermie) this time is as big as the female plant I had 10 years ago, i'm confident in that. The GSC auto I'm growing now is as big as the smaller plant (hermie) from 10 years ago. I'd say this should be a good comparison in terms of yield. I have 246 actual watts of LED lighting, I had a 250 watt HPS my first grow. I have great intake/exhaust/filter now, I had nothing before just a closet and fans. Temp/humidity control is great now, I had no control before. Even with the hermie I have now (and possible seeded GSC auto), I should be able to yield a QP. That's what I'm shooting for. Anything less and I'll keep trying, anything more and i'll be one happy dude.

Day 102 (74 days flowering)

75% of the white hairs on the plant have red tips. I've noticed it the last 48 hours, so i'm guessing this is its final push before the end. Watering again today with just h2o.

Day 103 (75 days flowering)

Starting tomorrow, plant will receive tap water instead of distilled water. Done enough testing now and feel confident enough to just use my tap water now.

Day 104 (76 days flowering)

Water day. Mixed up 1/2tsp calmag, 1/2tsp big bloom, 1/4tsp tiger bloom.

After watering (of course), I was doing some looking. The main cola, which you can see in most of the pics I post, has a bunch of white hairs. I'll try to post a better picture, but I believe they are foxtails. The rest of the plant is mostly red hairs. The main cola is the only area of the plant that has a lot of white hairs, and they are all on top of the main cola.

Not sure what this means for harvesting. Any advice or suggestions?

Snipped a small bud off one of the lower branches. Trimmed it up a bit.

*UPDATE: Dried it on the cable box for about 2 hours. Cut it up with some scissors and it had 19 seeds in it. They were not large seeds, but they were hard brown and developed. Their is about a bowl left minus the seeds and stem.

Day 105 (77 days flowering)

11 weeks of flowering. After smoking the popcorn nug I snipped, I've decided I am going to harvest today. This plant is just not going to finish like a normal plant would. Most would have pitched this plant a long time ago, but I let it finish. Nice to know I'll have experience with this in the future, but I can honestly say that I will NEVER in my life knowingly grow a hermie plant again.

The small popcorn nug had mostly cloudy trichs, i saw a few amber here and there. The foxtailing has thrown me off thinking the plant was not even close to being done. The lower branches have almost completely red hairs as well as all of the mass along the main stem up to the main cola. Only then is their a large amount of white hairs, and from doing research on here you cannot use those new growths as a sign of plant maturity.

I'll take some pictures of the process, maybe post them tonight or tomorrow.

Ok, the entire plant is cut up and hanging in the closet. Go a small fan bouncing off the walls to give a little air movement. Temp is at 74 and humidity is at 53%. I will post some more pictures and updates throughout the week.

I have a large Ziploc full of leaves and some of the smallest popcorn nugs. L3ooking into the best/fastest/easiest way to make some sort of hash with it.

Day 1 drying (24 hours)

RH is at 50%, temp at 75. Small fan still just blowing against wall in closet. I'm about to do some weighing, so i'll take a few pics once I get it all on the tray.
