You've been blessed with one of the greatest gifts that God has given us.
Enjoy your sleep while you can, for it will be a few years until you have that pleasure again. Tincture might be a requirement.
My son was born in late August and where I live the weather during the summer is hot-90's and humid and I would get home each day to windows that were frosted from the low temps that she required. The electricity bill was so expensive I thought I had bought stock in the utility company, so when I started my indoor grow it was considerably cheaper than the ac bill from the pregancy...almost half...so there's plenty of room for expansion.
2011 is shaping up to be another exceptional year...lead on

dst do you let the male do his thing and collect the pollen or you put the females you want to breed in with him?
I would like to do it by collecting the pollen but i want to make sure i do it right so i get seeds but not all on the tops because i still want buds..
SO my question would be when the pods open up do i just take them off and start tapping them to collect the pollen orwhat do i do?
This will be my first attempt at this so im hoping all goes smooth...

What I would suggest is to get a small jar (jam jar or something) and carefully snip off the pods into the jar. Then throw the plant away if you intend to select specific branches to pollenate. Once you have collected let the pollen sacs dry out then you can break em open and using a paint brush carefully apply to the buds you want. Or What I do is put the pollen in a clear plastic bag (you can also add a little bit of flour to spread the pollen) then put the bag over the branch you want to pollenate, then give it a shake (make sure you tie the bottom of the bag off so no pollen escapes). I then carefully remove and throw the bag away...or keep it and put it in the freezer...seems to keep okay. Any more q's let us know.

As a suggestion, reduce the intensity of light, take it out of the tent and have it in the living room or kitchen for a night or two.

Mr. West, congratulations. Like TG says, later is better, but you stretched it a bit I think. I was 29 and in a few years she's off to college.

Well guys I have another confirmed Jackhammer male in my tent leaving Jackie C the only one left to see. I'm thinking it's male as well because while the preflower bud isn't showing a stem, I can see the 5 defined lines. The only other plant in the tent is the clone of my hermied plant and she's showing nanners at day 31 12/12. In the green room I have 2 new Jackhammers in veg for 12 days now, as well as 2 WW femms and 2 The Purps, that just popped today. Therefore, nothing will be going in the tent for a while and even when there does, there's still time till sexed. I seem to have two phenos here. A and B are turning out to be very much alike except A has some deeper green and glossy leaves, while B has lighter, more velvety leaves. C is a real short and stalky little bugger. So I'm thinking I'd like the pollen from A and C but B I'm not sure of.

Also I have a couple of other questions, If I may. I'm wondering if a hermied plant can be pollinated by a male, like in my situation, and what might be the outcome? Also, can a plant from femmed seeds be pollinated by male pollen, and what would that result in?

Thanks again, heres some pics.

does it matter if i get the remote ballast or a digital one?
i want to hear from the guys who know the difference instead of the company claims...

I'm not a pro but Don Gin and Ton has some opinion about that, at least concerning magnetic vs digital. He had one blowed up on him and wreaked up his house for a while. Which reminds me Don, cause I keep meaning to ask, but were you running a dual arc by chance when that happened? The reason I ask is because I had an incident a couple of weeks ago where my magnetic was trying to fire up my dual arc and it was having a hard time lighting up the MH part of the bulb, causing the ballast to clunk and spark and start smelling. At first I thought my ballast was hooped but I threw my regular HPS bulb in it and all good since. I just think if I wasn't here that morning what might have happened? Probably very similar to you or worse.

Sorry guys, I know this is probably better suited for the 600 but it was brought up.
