[CFL] Lemon Skunk! [Clone]

My camera was dead when I went to take shots, so no go yet.
I can tell you this;
The one top on my last plant, grown all natural with one main cola,
was fluffier, less frosty, smaller, and overall less good looking, then the 5 tops on this plant at the same time flowering.

Shits going to be crazy, and that one top turned into a 15" monster..
So I'm expecting 5x 6g, but won't be surprised @ 5x 12" colas @ 10g each.

Buds are huge, I understand what you veteran growers mean by quality genetics.
I can only imagine what a $3000 cut would perform like next to this Lemon Skunk I have.

This plant's 5 buds are embarassing the last plants single cola, check out the comparison..

Looks great man!!! it's kind of like a farm horse compaired to a race horse!!! hahaha

Definately, the last plant grew super spacey, not frosty, and there were giant fan leaves with no trichomes still coming out of the buds at week 9.
Talk about shitty genetics.

I'm about to crack a seed in the next few days, to bonsai with my Lemon Skunk mother. If it's a male I might even keep it, I don't even care.

Decided against that.
Took two clones off my Lemon Skunk mother, Alpha and Beta.
These will be rooted and bonsai'd with the original mother to give me a trio of small bonsai mothers.
Hopefully I can reduce the workload enough to keep them super super tiny.

At the end of next week I start my cycle of clones, to fill up my cabinet.
Which means I have about 2 1/2 - 3 weeks to finish up my cabinet and get it all set up.
But the shitty CFL's I bought keep burning out, so I have to somehow completely replace all my bulbs with a different brand.
And if Home Depot doesn't cover it, then I'm never supporting them with my cash again.
I don't care if I have to rebuild the taj mahal.

Smoking a bowl of some Lemon Skunk as we speak, enjoy the day everyone!


We're 75% there!
Decided to go shoot photos since I was having fun with Xena.
I staked her buds upright, so all sides could catch light.
The topsides were maturing faster than the underbelly.
I hope it'll catch up.

Really starting to notice the weight on her, this is by far exceeding my expectations I love this phenotype.

Day 50 Flowering; Xena!
Intersex. Intersex. Intersex.
Fuck.

The very tip of one of the colas had a Banana. I decided to cut it out,
managed to narrow it down to one fat cluster of calyxes the size of a pea.
So no great loss on chopping that one out early.

A lower nug of another cola cought my eye seconds before I left.
On the side, a calyx contained at least 5 more bananas, tightly packed and dark green.

I decided to just cut this nug off the cola, and start drying.
This nug will help me avoid cutting early haha.

I'm going to let her ride it out, she's in the last ten days at this point.
If I notice a heavy wave of bananas start to appear I'll just chop her.

Wish her luck, things aren't going to swell.

Thanks for the vibes, I'll pass them on to her when I get back from breakfast.
I'll get pictures today if possible, but don't worry, I will NOT chop her without taking a gigantic photo shoot first.

I went to see her earlier, and spent a half hour searching for bananas, eager to chop off nugs here and there. But it was almost like she didn't want to go out early, and stopped producing bananas.
I couldn't find one more.

Hopefully she 'got the message' and I won't see any more of those nasty things.

Day 52 Flowering; Xena!
I'm finding more and more bananas..
I chopped a whole cola today,
bud by bud so as to leave it's large fan leaves.
4 colas left, and they're fat.

I'm charging my batteries as we speak, major photo update later,
don't worry guys, you didn't miss anything yet.

Things are coming to an end.
I'd like to leave as much bud as possible on until day 60.
I don't know if this will be reality.

Since I come from the PNW, most of the bud we get up here is Indica or at least 50/50.
When I get to smoke true Sativa, I'm usually out of town. And it always has an extra layer of leaves on it, frosty as all hell. It's almost like the standard of Sativa for me.

So I decided to leave some skinny sativa leaves on the larger buds, It's not like I'm selling it all anyways. Any little nugs that get clipped off or whatever get trimmed to perfection.

I've been there not to long ago with my Blueberry hermie!!! chopped naners for weeks! i still ended up pollinating my entire garden... not bad, but a little bit!! maybe 10 seeds a plant... keep up the good fight though bro!!!

First banana was found on about day 50.
I was lucky it was so late into flower. And since I only grow one plant honestly I could just let them go. But no point in that..

The home stretch.
Goal is day 60, can we make it?

Cut out one nug of one cola earlier due to a few bananas.
Everything else looks great, the lights fit nicely on her today, she's still not thirsty.
I'll probably force flush her again tomorrow. Believe me when I say pain in the ass.

You know this is one plant right?
But thank you, remember that 16" cola on my last girl? Bahahaha.

Actually there's a funny story behind that..
When I smoke Sativa herb, it's usually from outdoors and has an extra set of leaves on it, it's almost like a standard for me.
So I left some leaves on it, and chose to dry it 'upright' so they'd naturally fold DOWN over the bud.

I just use shiskabob sticks and stab them lightly towards the bottom of the nug.
They're very dense so I just kind of poke & forget.

I just took these so you could have a better view.

Thank you, it's more for the upright drying than aesthetics,
but I must admit I LOVE checking on them,
because they are just little budsicles.

Bah I went through pictures of my bagseed grow,
day 50 on the bagseed was like day 27 on the the Lemon Skunk.
Talk about performance boost.

Day 54.. What a buildup. I gotta have patience,
I chopped that first cola way too soon,
but I did it because I lost track of a bananapod.
If she gets pollinated, it doesn't even matter where on her,
she'll go into reproduction mode.
So I technically can't afford one grain of pollen or I may as well chop her the next day.

There are major benefits, as well as some drawbacks to a single plant grow.
Also, did anyone else have bananas in their Lemon Skunk buds?

I couldn't imagine what would stress her out, so I'm assuming it's just her Sativa side attempting to self-pollinate.
Which is totally normal in equatorial sativas.

I'm honestly not concerned, but it sucks that they start on week 7.
I still haven't noticed a scary 'wave' of bananas, still only the occasional infidel.
