Not many words are exchanged.
I just look her over and figure out why what's doing what.
Then I fix everything and get her back in the perfect position for my setup, and walk away.
But it takes so damn long that I usually smoke a bowl when I can.
Day 38 Vegetative; Kayla!

Fish.

My buddy's plants got this wierd elmer's glue skin on some of their leaves in small spots.
Anybody have any clue what that could be?
He just got a new Bubba Kush clone after one of the Lemon Skunk clones died and some AK47 seeds failed to sprout.
The clone came from the dirty outdoors and is going to be a rescue.

Also his dirt builds up this slimy layer that looks like fertilizer stained perlite/peat pellet fabric.

I don't think for sure that the slimy soil and dead skin are related, but the idea is in the back of my mind.
I think the dirt has something to do with he MH light, since there isn't much foliage to shade the dirt's surface.
And the slime could have been something from the wilderness, but that would mean a systemic issue, and that could fuck everything.

Day 9 Flowering; Xena!
It's finally coming.
The Flowers are almost here.

Honestly I lost count of days until just now, I thought it had been day 3 or 4 at a glance because simply, there has been no stretch yet.
None.

The "stretch" should be completely done by about day 20.
So we still have 11 more days to tell, but so far it looks like she's going to stay short for me!

I've noticed the tips of the colas start to swell, and get ready to pop open with pistils everywhere.
I love late veg and early flower, it's such a beautiful time period.

that' great at nine days and no stretch!!! I can't wait to see the hairy girl!!!

I just got back after a short trip,
and I went to see her naturally.

Her buds have "opened" up into the early flower tips, with pistils everywhere.
It begins.

This is day 12 and no stretch.
None.

Take that all you Sativa growers and Indica Growing Whiners!!

I have noticed the stems swell, and the stretch did happen, but it was a very very slight stretch, and because of the LST it just broaded the plant by about an inch or two.

Heightwise she's probably grown an inch since 12/12.


Photoshoot tomorrow afternoon.

Well it was a clone, so I knew it was a female this whole time.

She has the early buds. Since I have her restricted to 5 main colas with only about 2 or 3 side buds on each branch, they develop extremely fast.
This is day 13, and it looks like day 21 shots.

Fucking stoked.
Oh and the stretch is at about 2"-3" so far.


I'm going to do a photoshoot tomorrow night, at exactly 14 days/2 weeks.

I know I said I'd do photos two nights ago, but I've been busy lately.
I'll try to get some more shots tomorrow.

Alright so you guys deserve to be pissed. I've really been slacking on updates, and she's already budding.
Guess what I found today?
Pink Pistils. Yep.
Early buds too, seems to be about a 50/50 chance of pink hairs so far, we'll see if it colors up more in the coming weeks.

Has anybody else had this Phenotype? Maybe this is the clue I need to figuring out which seed company I have.
Stoked. I'll get shots in the morning, it's a Saturday.

Day 17 Flowering; Xena!
Here you go boys & girls, sorry it took so long.
I got to wake up today and go visit her early.
I got lazy on the razor pruning come flower time because I didn't want to cut off a couple buds that got too big already.
Now they're under the canopy and I'm kicking myself for not removing them, but they will still get good and fat.

She's stretched probably about 3"-5", not much in my opinion.

Thanks, I pull my 5000k bulb aside to get the clear shots. I don't like the tone of 2700k. Except on some pictures.
There's 5 main colas, and each have like maybe 3-5 side buds.
So 5 tops and like 15-25 side nugs of good size.
The goal is an ounce, let's see if I can do it.

160w of CFL, and I'm only shooting for about .20g/w
Hopefully I'll be rediculously surprised and get more!

Day 19 Flowering; Xena!
I moved some branches over and spiraled her back into a canopy. Some side buds were at the outer edges of my lighting.
Her buds are really starting to swell every day now. Not too much, just enough to notice it every day.

One of the buds, that seems to be the fattest, has a lot of pink hairs. One bud has almost no pink hairs at all.
Another one got a little light-burned just at the tips of each pistil. But since there was no damage to the foliage on the bud, it just took it as a chance to catch up with the others and swelled fat overnight.

She's looking great, the main fan leaves are starting to get frosty, and her side nug leaves are definately frosting up even more.
She's flowering so much faster and more evenly than my bagseed plant, which I have basically lost anyways. No big loss in my opinion.

Her buds smell like the Yellow Froot Loops. Awesome.
(9/13/11) Counted budsites, There's going to be around 17 Good size nugs, and 5 full on colas.
If the colas stretch just a tad in deep flower then it could be more like 22 good size nugs and 5 colas.
You get the idea. I had her chillin' about 3" from the 42w'ers. She really started to like the sweet spot. This morning I moved her to about 1.5" and she's really kicking into gear now. This pheno really doesn't like sudden adjustments on temperatures, waterings, or lighting. She's really treating me nice though, barely stretching.
All 5 of her colas @ day 20, look fatter than the one cola on my last grow at the same time.
I could end up with 8" colas x5 muahahaha.

Day 28 Flowering; Xena!
The shots were taken yesterday, so technically day 27.
I don't even feel like seperating them, just enjoy,
her buds are getting so fat.

lookin good dude!!! the buds are starting to get their "lean" on!!! It's gonna be a great harvest for ya!!!

That's a combination of LST and weight, but it is certainly looking that way.
Even her fat fan leaves are coming out so frosted, there's no more plain leaves.

Thanks! I have some photos from day 33ish on my last grow that I'm going to compare in a week.

I don't own any molasses, or I would.
I probably won't get any for this grow, but I'll remember to add that to my list of supplies in the near future.
