Cali-O - round 3

indeed troutie, indeed
time for an update - 8 weeks of bloom
much impressed with the cali-o, the upper cola production is quite solid
good side buds too, definitely liked cfl's, 1 zip seems a safe bet
it's got some time left yet to ripen, but no hurry, 2 weeks at least

9 weeks of flower, the stretch run has begun
time has flown by here, got to check those trichomes soon
the pistils are turning fast, and the bud is still swelling
been using another grow log on ic as my guide here, 10 weeks looked best
foliage is beginning to die off, a good indicator of ripening(usually)

OK, time to collect thoughts and reflect on the grow
90 days and 10 weeks of flower, and i cut her down
the haul was a bit disappointing, 60 g wet
i'll guess 16g dry, with held water for the last week
i've pulled in 30g dry from other grows in this chamber
if i recall, the yield quoted on the nirvana cali-o wasn't high
quality looks good though, maybe enough to make up for the yield
very sweet odor, intensely sweet, maybe not so much orange
pics are in the grow chamber, and outside just before the chop

Congrats on the harvest bro. On to the next one right?!
that's the plan, actually i'm going to try a reveg of this plant, supposedly this can give a larger yield the 2nd time around
unless the bud isn't as good as it looks, in which case it's time to pop another seed

so i did say this plant wasn't reveg worthy
after a good cure, i changed my mind, it's a keeper, at least for another grow

now this turned out to be the roughest reveg i've had, my others were a cake walk
this was a bitchy project, it revegged, but got major deficiencies and crummy progress
feeding didn't help, couldn't figure it out
so i finally popped the root ball, didn't look bad, but pruned it anyways, and repotted
that was the trick, wasn't happy with the old roots in the old soil
not perfect, but growing fast now, hoping for a better yield than the 1st time, 1st day of flower

plant recovery is impressive, a little root trimming seems to be a good thing, at least in this case

quality is very good, the cure resulted in a grapefruit odor, and a good taste, but not as good as the odor, rich deep grapefruit
quality had to be good because i would have trashed this plant a while ago, a long painful reveg

this reveg seems to be working out, flowers everywhere
i think this was a heavier feeding plant than i appreciated in the 1st grow
it seems to like the extra 6-9-0 bone meal in the soil mix

22 days, looking good
yields will be better, how much will be clear soon(i hope)
so far, reveg is looking like a good bud producing choice

lookin awesome man (assuming...ya never know on the interweb). Your reveg will blow mine away..but i love the idea in general. Why chop a plant if you can make it grow again?

indeed infowarrior420, micro growers need to use all the tricks they can
no need to toss a perfectly good plant in the bin when it can be 'born again'

4 weeks flower, not bad, but definitely could have been fed more
seems that a revegged plant may be a heavier feeder than the original seedling
still, bud production is good, but it could have been even better
on the positive note, it is ripening faster than the 1st time
looks like it could be finished in 8 weeks, or close to it

very true infowarrior, we'll hold that thought
at this point, i begin the game of trying to guess each bud's finish weight
4 of them should be around 4 grams by the finish, another 8 smaller that should average a gram
maybe 24 grams from the better developed buds, a few more from the popcorn
the last few grows have left me weed poor, a 1/3 gpw grow would get things back to normal

guess it's that time of the week, 6 weeks of flower
and it's packing on some weight, getting better formation down low
could be some 1 footers here, good by micro standards
the 1/3 gpw still seems in reach
