Buyer Beware: Northwest Glass Art/Dodo Glass

I was looking around to see if Dodo Glass is legit and found this thread.

Has anyone else purchased a bong or pipe from them and received it? Thinking about buying there Glass On Glass 14 mm Tree Perk Ash Catcher, it's $29.99. An identical one at my local headshop has a 45$ price tag on it.

I Broke down and and bought the ashcatcher from Dodo... I re-read jizzmaster0's posts and looked up dodo by address, found another good review.
About 2 hours after I bought it they called me, I unfortunately missed the call.

Just now as I was writing this I got an email telling me that it has been shipped with the UPS tracking number.
Purchased at 12:45pm, got "Your Order has been shipped" email at 9:24pm. About 9 hours, That's pretty damn good and seems legit... Hope it stays that way. :-P

I'll post again when I receive my order...

IDK about those other users, but I come to this site all the time just reading or finding info that would help me. Which is how I found this thread, I was curious about the legitimacy of dodo glass. I'm just letting you all know my experience thus far, thought others would like to know more about the site as well since there really isn't much on them.

OK, I am back... and with good news, I received my ashcatcher on Nov. 5th. So far the 1 thing I'm not thrilled with is the size of the piece, It's a little small... but I suppose that is not Dodo's fault. :-P

For the non believers and those that just want to see, here are a few pics (even though you "haters" will probably still go on about how new of a user I am and that I'm lying or some BS).

LOL yeah my rep is totally newbie for my several posts and 2 orders from Dodo that have been fine. Some people just wont be convinced though. NWGA website is ghetto n their pieces look pretty cheap anyway. Dodo at least gives thicknesses and measurements. I dont know about Chunky but I wouldn't order from them either after Dodo...they treat u right.

Just placed an order with Dodo for a 18 inch single perc bong and a ash catcher. Got my confirmation email instantly, so good so far.

I live near there and actually walked in yesterday and purchased the exact same thing. It works great and I love it.

What is this shit???

First of all, how did the owner of Northwest locate and reply to this topic so quickly? Secondly, the majority of people who are vouching for these companies have like 1-4 posts. This whole thread is fishy on so many levels.

I saw that too..
Just a tricky marketing tactic that these guys use.
They'll get the less observant from time to time..for me, ill stick to my local head shop ;-)

this is all bs and I WILL NOT be ordering any pipe due to these scamming trolls my ass youve been reading stuff here for awhile and what you just decided to finally make an account just to talk about how good an online pipe store is bs check all there posts its funny through them trying to convince me it actually wound up making me not want anything to do with those sites any of them

pshh they cant even scam people who are high
