Thats what i got my first time.... then i started freezing and blasted like 13g and got almost 4g back.... i was like fuck...did my oz suck? I was expecting like 2.5 from the 13 since i did oz my 1 st time an got 5g i am confused on this since i dont have too much experience.

Always contingent on the starting material.
Percentile of active cannabinoids in the starting material has the greatest impact on yield.
(trichome coverage dependent.)
But, I'll be damned if I've run some material that was COVERED in resin glands and ended up with shit yields.

Well answered my own Q... depends on strain, trimmed buds, heads or popcorn.... but here my experience .... Chernobyl -17% return, vortex- 20%, sour cheese-22% and sour diesel -24%. Thats return on buds. And did 2 trim runs and got ≈11%.... also depends if its dry all the way. Sour cheese was a lil moist so its % might be higher. Winterized all material and tools.

freezing for a few hrs will do nothing for the tools, it takes days to get metal down to a polar temp...hell even iso takes up to 3-4 days in a deep freezer to get down to 33 degree's so just a pop in the freezer isn't ganna cut it.. i after following tips from qwizonkin ,Twich ,Dannoo and a few others that have the experience in oi extractions.. and now i too am a pro.
