yeah, there are some defs and over ferts at times.
Only my first dwc so I'm still learnin.
And I've done this grow with no PPM meter.
Bubbles, CFL, Miracle Grow, bagseed.

It is hot as fuck today, and so it shows in my closet.
I guess since today is pic day yall got some good stress to look at lol.

to chop a couple off or not.

Hey P how's it going... Dude it sure looks like maybe over fert or some ph issues are you sure it's just a heat prob? I like the close ups did you use a magnifying glass?

what up chain, don't think it can be an over fert problem being that I haven't fed any nutes in about 2 weeks lol
Maybe it's under fert? Just checked the PH and its a slightly under 6.
I'll add a small dose of Hydrogen peroxide for some cleaning and give a small half dose of food.

So I did a lot of thinking and reading today and decided today was the day.
Since I have already been flushing for 2 weeks
I am going to do a periodic harvest, taking the buds when I feel they are ripe.
I clipped one of the pollinated buds and looked at the seed as a guide.
The seed was almost fully mature, even the shell was hardening and
had some tiger stripes
If the seed is almost complete, I would say the bud is pretty much matured.
So I chopped off all the side colas top buds that looked ready.
Come to find out I have around 17 main side shoots with nice top buds.
I only chopped the top buds because their pistils have almost all reddened.
I did leave 2 side cola buds because they had more white pistils than I like
and will probably fatten up the calyxs when they redden.
So that's the beginning of the final journey. I'm gonna be doin some trimming
now and will post some pics of the process, during and complete.

So here is the aftermath.
Got me some nice fat buds. Yes, they will shrink after drying.
They are beauties though. I'm impressed and proud.
I smoked one out of the vaporizer earlier till it dried then moved to the bowl.
I was highly impressed. haha, no pun intended.

Yes they were picked somewhat early, but have already been flushing for 2 weeks and
almost all pistils were orange, trichs cloudy, looked finished to me so I started harvest.
And I really hope you're talking about curing, and not manicuring.
I believe those buds are manicured very well.

Had to come back lol. forgot to give a smoke report.
This shit is the shit! I been smokin everyday all day since harvest.
I'm talkin blunts go faster than cigarettes around here. and I quit smokin cigs over a year ago.
Can't believe I got this much from one plant. I would have to say at the very least a good 2 oz dry.
Actually, come to think about it I've got like an O left, and I KNOW I've smoked way over half of my shit.
So the guestimate of dry weight would be around 3 oz. Not bad for first time dwc and first harvest.
Not sure when I'll be back at it, prolly when I finish this batch of smoke. But next time will be a SCROG project.
