I think it really depends on what kind of bud it is and how long it takes to go through a flowering period. Some can take up to 3-4 months i think even longer to get a good yield of bud. I was reading at the beginning of your journal about the root problem i recently actually today took my plants out of my AG and put them in soil. The thread you saw of those pics no longer their well those plants aren't anyways. I put clones in my AG because I figure since their ready to flower anyways their wont be as many roots, cause i think in the first place clones don't have a lot of roots to begin with it takes 8-10 days for them to root. Sorry for talking so much, but you also asked what nutes I'm using. Well im currently using flora gro, flora micro, and flora bloom. So far they have worked as great nutrients. So you said thats not mylar, its an emergency blanket? Where did you find that?

By the way, very very nice grow.. sucks to hear your biggest plant had a penis... I have a gut feeling thats the way mines is going to turn out... i got three growing right now, and just need that figure 8 cord to get flowering. Good looking on the post, i'll keep ya posted and check back on ya from time ta time.

and for gods sake, where do you find the red cfl's.. ive been to sears and lowes, and all i can find is cool white and soft white. Warm white is the reds right? Where in the blue hell did you find them?! maybe its just me, but shopping for tools just aint my forte..

its an emergency blanket made of mylar. they sell just the emergency blanket ad walmart for like 1.99 thats what i used and alot of other peeps.

You can get the red cfl's, or 2700k at Home Depot. They come in a green and white package. That's what you want to look for is 2700k. It usually says it somewhere on the packaging for other lights but I know for sure it says it on the upper left hand corner on the back of the ones at Home Depot. The "100 watters" put out 1600 lumens each, and you can get a 2 pack for $6.88.

The emergency blanket is mylar, i bought 2 of them at walmart for about 5 bucks or something for both....look in the camping section

as for the figure 8 cord, i used the playstayion cord i just had to cut it a little bit to make if fit in the aerogarden light...you will see what i'm talking about or they have those figure 8 cords at radioshack i believe.

I started out with 6 and came out with 2 females....but if you get one female you can just clone off it and have sure females....keep in touch for an advice..

just go to walmart....the blue ones will be in a clear package with blue paper around it..it will say 6500k on the side in the blue part i believe...thats for veg growth...and i just bought the best value? i guess it was called 23 watt cfls they came in a green box called warm white cfls which are the red ones for flower cost about 8 bucks for 4 pack...they are 100 watt equiv 1600 lumens...but they have bigger ones that are 43 watts but that cost about 9 dollars each but they only have them in the red 2700k...dave used the 43 and came out with very nice buds....check his grow out also

looks like its really coming around good...i can actually see the tricomes on the leaves...atleast i think thats what it is...its growing so big...and to think this was just a idea one day when i was stoned...haha

blowinbig, I'm not currently having any problems, they seem to be doing pretty good though I do have some questions. First off, I'm using bag seed, I planted 6 days ago in my AG without germinating.

All 7 have sprouted now but I don't know how long I should veg or when to start flowering. I've read several posts here saying to start flowering after only a week of veg but that just doesn't seem right to me (I'm assuming they're talking about clones, not from seeds). Can you clarify for me please??

Also, should I keep the pump running 24hrs when I switch the lights to 12/12??

And lastly for now, what nutes do you recommend for now & flowering??

Other then that, identifying males/females will be my next challenge...
