Bho vacuum chambers

The top clamp is where the column is ends. Then I have a short piece coupled to a piece with a plate with holes, and that's coupled to the reducer.

At the end up the column I have a screened gasket. On top of the plate with the holes I have one of these pieces of filter paper with a bunch of coffee filters filling the tube.

So one of those filters on the bottom of those coffee filters, and a screen above it to prevent the material from getting in.

I meant to post these with this comment.

Do i keep playing with the valves letting air in/out until the muffin turns to a slab and then close the air inlet valve until the vac reaches a full -30 & then close the pump valve & turn the pump off and let it set under a vac for 24 hours or what?

You only let air in if the muffin is getting too big and threatening to touch the walls. Let it stay a muffin for as long as it wants. The longer the better really. Sometimes it will finish while being foamy like spray on insulation. That's the best because you can make it glassy if you put it under pressure. If it looks like swiss cheese where it's completely flat with no bubbles and a lot of big holes you probably purged too hot.

Sometimes the mufflin will just collapse really quickly. I think this is from too much moisture in the goop. You want the material to be good and dry going in, and to avoid condensation as much as possible while blasting / purging. When you open the valves of your vac oven, always do it slowly to keep a ton of cold air from rushing into the warm chamber.

I was vaccing it until the bubble collapsed and it got foamy like insulation spray and then I left it under vac for 4-5 hours, but yes it takes me about two minutes total to purge the vac off.

I got a pound from my plugg and it had the humidity pack but I took it out for about a month and then i ground it real fine and let it sit out for a little over a day then i let it set in the freezer for about 6 hours, (until my water in my ice cubes tray actually turned to ice).

So do i not need to worry about how quick i get it back in the chamber after puging the vac, cause im just flipping it by putting it on another peice of parchment paper tgen in the fridge for two two three minutes then pulling out and peeling it apart, then of course with whats left behingvi scrape of with a blade and put with the rest of it for vaccing? But i do let it warm up to room temp before putting it back in the vac @ 80•?

Also do i turn on the pump then slowly open the pump valve while slowly closing the air inlet valve simultaneously to get it up to vac? Or do i just have the air inlet valve all the way closed then turn the pump on & then slowly open the pump valve? I know to definitely close tge pump valve all the way before turning my pump off but do i need to get up to vac quickly with the air valve all the way closed or do i do it slow and allow fresh air from the outside into my chamber until it gets close to a full vac?

You should buy a roll of this. You can blast directly into it and then put it into the vac chamber. You don't need to scrap or pour, so there's really no waste and the goop doesn't get agitated in the process. Plus it doesn't stick unless the BHO is really tacky. It get the paddy off easier I slide the film over the edge of a table or whatever and slowly work it off. If it's sticky I fold the paddy over onto itself and press. If there is leftover pieces, just try to pull it up with the paddy or use a chunk and go around "snowballing" it off of the film.

Close the intake port's valve first. Then turn on the pump and open its valve. Pulling fresh air into the chamber is only bringing in moisture.
