"Progressives don't win in a field controlled by big money!"

You don't say..

Seriously though, are those of you who actually think this is a good argument retarded?

It would seem obvious to anyone politically astute..
I can not honestly remember the last time I heard anyone use the word "retarded"in real life
Good luck on your pursuit to win friends and influence people
Maybe a Snickers would help

Lack of Public support just means you are the loudest one speaking
Except both Omar and AOC have widely held public support

Why are you opposing both of these women of color?

Is it because they're women and you're a sexist or because they're not white and you're racist? Or BOTH!?

Can someone please list for me all the winning Progressives in 2018
I'm old and can only find two significant victories from the far left...Guide me to the lefts great accomplishments ?
Thank You
They can't even tell us what they mean when they use the word "Progressive".

I've asked for names before. Crickets. When I went through the list of people endorsed by Our Revolution and Justice Democrats I counted 6 or so people who were endorsed by either of those PACS and won a national seat. 235 Democrats won their races in 2018 by comparison.

According to tty, Warren is not Progressive but Sanders is. Yet Warren has a higher score when it comes to support for crucial progressive issues.

https://progressivepunch.org/scores.htm?x=20&y=10&house=house&party=&sort=name&order=down

These so called Progressives only know what they have been told to think. They don't actually know anything.

For example, @Padawanbater2 thinks the word "elector" has a sinister meaning.

"Let that sink in"

LOL

Why are AOC and Ilhan Omar the most popular politicians in Congress?
Because one is a loud mouth that thinks any idea is instantly fundable no matter how ridiculously expensive it is and the other makes racist comments thinking she's immune from being called on it because she's a Muslim woman.

Both are pretty much stupid as hell, make very stupid mistakes and dominate the headlines because of it. They're typical mellinials.

They're not the 'most popular'. They're the most infamous.

And voting on someone else's work isn't being a legislator. It's being a lazy ass with no drive, no brains and no ability to make your own legislation and champion it into law.

Bernie has done exactly jack shit his entire political career. All he has ever championed is renaming two post offices.

That's it.

I noticed your list of his votes is missing the HUNDREDS of bills he was too lazy to show up and vote on.

You don't support Democracy. You think party officials should elect the candidate over the voters
I can't help your delusions. But you can. Get that looked into and maybe you won't spend the rest of your life washing dishes in a mediocre restaurant.

Yeah, I want government to be controlled by the electors. You talk as though there is something sinister about that.

e·lec·tor
/əˈlektər/
noun
plural noun: electors
  1. 1.
a person who has the right to vote in an election.
synonyms: voter, member of the electorate, enfranchised person, constituent, member of a constituency, selector
    "each elector has one vote"

Woooooohhhhh, scary. A person who has the right to vote in an election.

"Let that sink in". LOL

Corrtez and Omar are first year politicians. Its too early to tell if they are any good or not.

Bernie on the other hand, I don't know why he bothers to show up. As you point out he doesn't -- a lot. Still, he could not show up at all and would get about the same amount accomplished.

K, so you tell me here and now what is? Who can I look to as being a "good legislator" in your mind?
Bernie has done exactly jack shit his entire political career.
Yeah, you're just an idiot bent on emotion just like a Republican. The dude raised the wages of hundreds of thousands of workers without holding any amount of power at all, he simply put pressure on Amazon and Disney through social media and go executives to raise wages. The fuck do you have to say about that? That's not accomplishing anything? I bet the hundreds of thousands of Amazon and Disney employees would argue otherwise.

I want government to be controlled by the people

If you want government to be controlled by the people, you don't say "the electorate".. you say "the people"

You're trying to substitute "the electorate" for "the people", because in reality, you support Democratic party officials choosing the candidate, not the voters, because you oppose democracy. You oppose democracy because you know the overwhelming majority of voters support progressive policies, and if they get the chance to vote for them, progressive policy will win.

Well that's exactly it; they aren't politically astute. They're in here listening the noise they make in their own echo chamber.

You are such a chump. Project away little man.

Too funny that you invented yet another fake conspiracy theory to keep your belief alive that there is an untapped pool of Progressives in Alabama who don't vote because Democrats aren't far enough left so they'd rather have Republicans. You've now created a theory to explain why most of the country votes more conservative than you want -- because Democrats are suppressing the vote? LOL, I never would have guessed that.

The simplest theory is the most likely. People don't vote because they don't want to. What would you do? Force them to vote?

So now you're stooping to calling people names because you can't think of anything else to do. Maybe you're the one who's wrong?

Look, you have a serious problem; you believe what the American Mass Media tells you. The rest of the world isn't fooled.

I know you can't be bothered to watch a ten minute video, but I'll post it for other people who might actually want to learn something about what's really happening in our country;

Jimmy Dore produces media that supports the right wing agenda. Anything that comes from his media is suspect.
