thanks @diggs99 and @JonathanT

Two more weeks and the tallest cola is just over 6 feet tall now. Crazy! I was hoping for a harvest by the end of June, but I think they're going to go at least another three weeks. They've really started packing on the weight in the last week and the smell is really strong when the tent is open. We've been running the a/c full time for just over a week and all humidity problems are over. Humidity in the tent when the lights are on is around 45% and it's hitting high 50's with the lights out. They're starting to yellow a bit on the bottom and the tiny buds down there are almost perfectly white. There's not much light getting to the bottom of the tent anymore.

I can't keep anything alive in hydro. Give me some soil and I can grow everything. Even in tiny pots. This big Croton is in a quart pot lol.
Looking healthy Jonathan. I suppose if I put my mind to it I could keep them alive. I just forget about house plants and they ending dying of thirst.

I was doing some calculations and I think I've under estimated when these should finish. They started showing signs of flower around the 13th of May, so I should be finishing around the second to third week of July. Looking at them through the microscope I cannot see any cloudy trichomes yet. The plant at the front right has weird looking buds. They almost look like a rattlesnake tail. The lower buds are starting to bulk up, but the top buds are really skinny and long. All the buds on the plant look this way and the others are making fat buds so I'm not going to worry about it too much.

Looking lovely! I bet your time frame is just about right on :). The one with the different buds is likely just a different phenotype. I've ran whole packs of seed as tester runs for breeders, and gotten 5-6 totally different types of plants in the batches.

Looks like you will have LOTS of nice frosty buds again.

I'm really tired of these different phenotypes. :cuss:I think this will be my last grow from seeds. I found a local to me clone store https://onlineclones.ca/ and another in BC https://mitsys.ca/ but their reviews look terrible https://buymailordermarijuana.ca/product-category/buy-weed-online-mitsys/ I couldn't find any reviews for onlineclones.ca and it's not a huge amount of money to take a risk.

This is already looking like it's going to be more than my last harvest. Once I'm done with this grow I'm going to wrap it up for a few months and start again in the late fall.

You do want to be careful with clones, make sure you are getting them from a clean garden. clones are an easy way to get pests into a grow.

I don't think I can be 100% sure they are clean, it's mail order. Is the concern as great when these would be the only plants?
It might not be a huge concern if they are the only plants, but once you get bugs it can be harder to get rid of them. I always quarantine ALL new plants away from my grow, and outside when I can. I was just reading a report on facebook this morning about a bunch of people that got thrips from a company that sells specialty carnivorous plants. It ruined a guys whole plant collection.

lol well now you've got me worried about buying clones. :eyesmoke: I also have a pack of gorilla zkittlez seeds waiting to be planted. Maybe I'll just run those this fall and see what the legal clone scene looks like in the new year.

Definitely not trying to scare you. Just something to keep in mind.

Phenotype uncertainties is one reason I like to have a veg and flower room. It lets me keep strains I like in veg and just flower clones. I know you have plant limits, but a small veg tent for some clones and 1 or 2 veg plants would be easy to set up. Then you could just flower 1-2 plants at a time, and if you get one you like you will have a clone so you can keep it around.

Another member here has been kinda mentoring me and he's totally against me buy clones online. I still have my secret jardin 3x3 tent with the broken zipper. Next grow I'm going to go with two plants instead of four and try to keep a mother plant in soil in the old tent that I can clone from. With four plants I'm not getting any light at all to the lower parts and it's a pain in the ass to manage. I've got lots of buds that are completely white having never seen any light. I'm also making more weed than I can possibly use so I don't mind if I get a little less.

The girls will down on Saturday. Three of the four plants are done... I'd guess probably 10-15% amber. One of the plants has foxtailed a bit and the weird plant isn't fully finished yet, all cloudy with no amber trichomes. It's not going to be a good yeilder so I'm not going to wait for it. I want to take them all down at the same time instead of staggering. The smell was out of control when I did that so I want to dry in the tent using the filter.
