Hellz yea, if it wasnt for a random 1 hour of hail, I'd still be growing hard right now. I've had plants out there since febuary.

Ouch. Looks like you dudes caught a bad break. It got down to freezing last night and I left my lime and banana tree(well it died off so hoping I get another banana tree from the roots) outside last night. Some of the newer growth on the lime tree has died off. GG I bought a bunch of seed packs last year like 75% off at the end of the season. I think you've inspired me to plant something small. Maybe a couple of maters and maybe some squash and cucumbers. I've never really had any kind of veggie garden tho. I also have a 5 gallon bucket full of compost and a bunch of happy frog I can mix in with the regular dirt. I don't think I will do a raised bed tho. Just hoe up some dirt in a spot and try that. I dunno. Anyway, loving this spring weather. Looking forward to the warm sunshine. Happy gardening all.

I think its a good idea to have a veggie garden if you're growing weed too. I put old soil in the garden or compost bin and use run off from indoors to feed the veggies. It's also a great excuse for why I have some much grow shit in and around the house.

That's perfect! I have some barely used happy frog and Amazon bloom soil already amended with perlite. Males, it was only used a little over a month or so. Probably 5 gallons of it or so to amend with the compost. I think I will put it in a sandy area where I had an above ground pool for my exes grandchildren. Perfect. I will also be on vaca all next week and it will be fun to get out there in the sun and start this project. maybe do two maters, a cucumber and a squash plant. Thanks man.
