I have 2 raised beds that I will be planting peppers, tomatoes, and herbs in this year.
I took apart an old wooden swing set and used the wood to build the beds. Here's a pic of what they look like.

I'm going to go get some compost and cow manure to till in before I plant.

Little sprouts. Brandywine on the right and Rutgers on the left.

I also have some peppers in jiffy pellets waiting to pop. I'll keep all of these indoors till early-mid March.

I'll post random updates of the veggies as the season goes along.

I was just telling my grandfather I'm about to pop some vegetable seeds this weekend. I'll be cleaning up outside to prep for two raised bed gardens in two weeks. I'll be raking leaves this weekend at my house, grandfather's house and maybe a few neighbors to prep my compost pile as well. Good luck and I'm onboard for this grow season! :bigjoint:

That's what I did(my son actually) raked up all the leaves and stuck em in the 2 compost bins I have.

^this one is cool because you can spin it to mix it, but it's a bitch getting it out of that small hole.

^this one is bigger, but I have to manually turn this on my own. So I've learned to just pull the whole bin off and set it right next to the pile. Then start filling it back up.

It's looking good Gary. I've got a few seeds in dirt too. And ten pepper plants about big enough to go outside. We had a spotty frost yesterday, none this morning, and it's 73F this afternoon. I'm going to call it Spring and start planting my big garden here in a week or two. I do expect one more cold snap, but I will be able to protect everything in pots for a night or two.

I started my pepper and eggplant seeds in the veg room. I'll start tomatoes and everything else in a couple weeks hopefully have them out mid-late april.
