That is good. They will go through a plant fast. And it's the same worm. It used to be called the tobacco worm, but as more folks started growing tomatoes, there was a name change.

Mater worm. My pig trellis fence is perfect for birds to perch and eat bugs, worms etc they help alone with different herbs I have a decent crop of ladybugs too

Yes they eat them. They eat thenightcrawlers too. That I don't like

The year I grew tobacco, the only plants to make it was the culls I had left at Mamma's house. Her chickens had kept the worms off those plants. The ones in the field got ate up.

Just trying it out like to grow things. Helps with boredom lol

I'm the same way. I'm growing crap I don't even like to eat.

Tobacco update

Had some amazing storms the past few weeks, garden has loved it. Toms and corn growing well, my peas and beans have been attacked by my rabbits, puppy, caterpillars, slugs....fk anything and everything lol.

My kids picked these and more this today

Garden is coming along great. Finally seeing fruits on most everything.

Looking good guys. My 2nd planting of {most} everything is kicking butt. Much better looking than the first go round. Blooms on the green beans, peas are vining and just set to bloom, and tassels on the sweet corn. The melons are vining and the banana cantaloupe and Armenian cucumbers are not far behind. The buried soaker hoses are doing the work. I turn them on real low every night unless it rains.

Last week I took the grow bag corn out of the trench and let it die. Then I direct composted both stalks and soil in the corn patch.

Had some good yields from the Raspberries and the Strawberries plants this year, we had a couple of weeks where breakfast was this..

My corns are a little scraggly and the beans and peas were eaten alive lol.

I got off to a late start this year. I only have 4 roma tomatoes planted so far.

Lets see how this season goes! Hopefully no hail this year lol

Nice garden Gary, I got mine planted early and I got some other planted in pots I still have. They look great, hope we don't get pounded down south here, we usually get stripped cause of the heat..

Nothing outside yet but everything is started in the greenhouse.

That stuff on the bottom grows everywhere in Australia it's pretty much a weed .i will have to try it out

My cherry tree is finally producing for me ....now I gotta keep the blue jays from snacking ....I also got my pomegranate tree to come back strong this year ...it's loaded ...(((pomegranate jam))......and my wierd plum cross Thinga ma bobber is guna be loaded as well .....my dad bought it for me years back and I have no idea what exactly the fruit is .....but it's delicious
