right now we are getting organized as far as guidelines, and competitors.... you will see the competition form itself very well over the next two months... So, should the cut off for those that wish to join be November or December? Once all of the rules and Guidelines are established and agreed to, I will post a full description of the competition, and then after we cut off people joining, we can really get things under way.

Honestly, I prefer to grow small plants in 1 gallon pots. Giant plants are giant exposures.
Perhaps in a future competition, we could have a outdoor THC % content contest.

Send me your samples and I'll get back to you all with the winner!

out.

Completely meets guidelines my friend. How exactly do you test for THC CBD CBN %'s? Your not getting a sample from me, especially because your not in the contest... but a Monster Harvest Party does sound like fun.... and what should the reward for this competition be? Anyone?

before they are mature... before they are topped (if your going to top them), before they go outside (unless you start the seed/clone outside). I was hoping that people would maybe have some in mind that they WANT to use... for example, I am using my Cinderella Clone, a GDP Clone, and a SSDNL Clone... They are all under a foot accept for maybe the Cinderella, none have been topped, and I will post pics of them after the join dates are over for the competition...

the idea is to watch the noticable techniques used, and compare them to other techniques used by other growers, so the earlier in the plants life, the better!

I am not in the contest so I can be trusted to be impartial.

There are a variety of scientific lab methodologies to determine THC levels. I prefer the "Reagan" method. I scientifically measure the hip wobble of my Chesapeake Retriever Reagan after a 3 hit shotgun puffed in her direction from exactly 11.25" away. This criteria is repeated until your bud samples are gone or until she falls asleep dreaming of rabbits and sugarbuds in her head.

P.S. you can tell when CrackerJax is kidding or not by my icon. (wink wink).

Im in. Everyone should go out and buy a yard stick to measure the plant against in their pics. that way there will be a standard to go by when judging.

OK, as you can see, I started including a little description of your grows with the list. I would appreciate any info that you don't mind me throwing in there with your name... like basically the info I provided for myself would be good. And I loved the idea about a Yardstick. The only thing about that is, in about two months the yard stick is going to be too short for me :P. I have a tape measure that I could use later on though... and CRVALLE, Yes, by starting your seeds now, you definitely can enter. Pick 6 of your seedlings to monitor until you can determine which are females, and which are males, once you have done that choose 3 Females to enter into the Contest. Anyone may use that method. CRVALLE... this is your first outdoor attempt right? Well, feel free to ask anyone on RIU for Advice, as that is what these threads are around for. So that may answer another question: Feel free to get advice and follow it from any trusted source! I think pictures are enough to determine a winner, unless RIU will let up with its only rule I don't like, to turn virtual reality into reality, and let people hook up... so any ways... any one else want to join?

Ladies & Gentlemen, I'm VERY happy that others are mentally & physically preparing for the 09 Grow. I felt like a freak, walking around with a hard on just thinking about it. Plus, Fdd pretty much embarrassed me, and I don't take to kindly to sucking hind tit. But we must crawl before we walk. Me, personally, have collected about 200 plus seeds, thinking about renting a back/hoe. Oh Yeah, it's on for 09.
What is the classes of judgment. IE; Height, Width, Flower count, THC level, dried weight, color, maybe out of the box growing method, etc. Count me in. Due to all the various strains, maybe a specified list of strains involved/allowed. That would take away 80% of the complications. Plus, then we will be able to specifically judge if this or that medium & nutes is better than others. Just a thought. Fucking A.
