2009 Early Start Monster Outdoor Competition

O.K. So I am going to take it as an "I'm in" from South Texas... please include your start dates, when you plan to put into ground, and when you plan to harvest, somewhere in here so we can all see it included on the list, thank you.

Oh yeah... I will also be cutting the competitors down to a total of 50.... so if we reach 50 competing before the cutoff date then we will start the comp right when we reach 50 competitors! I see it happening..

AND: I pledge to keep very good track and very organized track of this competition!
All of those things could be used to judge for winner/winners I think it would be a good idea to have one main winner with one main prize, and then a whole bunch of subcategories to judge and give out smaller prizes to the winners of the subcategory (which would add up to total points for the over all winner).

Any suggestions as far as prizes for winners? I will check with site staff to see if there can be an on sight prize, and will rack my brain to see what I can come up with for a main prize winner.... keep minds open please!

we don't really need prizes.....just winning would be enough,but if your putting up the cash i want a gift card from a seed bank,or a nice glass bong!!!

Gift Card from seedbank sounds exellent.... glass I don't know, lets get some more feedback first... basically we would all pitch in to get the winner their prize... or I might offer something up... or I don't know I would have to see what I can work out with RIU Staff and Admin...

that sounds cool,only i dont think people will send you any money.i dont think all of us pitching in would work,also i dont think anyone would give up there address and name.so we might have a problem with the whole prize thing.just a thought...

your right, and I have thought about that... Im not going to worry too much about that right at the moment... I wouldn't ask anyone to send me money... more like just get in touch with the seedbank that will issue the card and have everyone send a few bucks to the seedbank... or if anyone has seeds that are good that they wanna offer up... Winner could get prize directly from me depending on what it is... and where they are... all of that is up in the air... so right now lets just focus on getting this going and organized etc.!
