hey everybody ! its bonzing again!
ive moved from my closet grow, into a 5ft by 10ft grow tent, ill be running my veg and mother in the closet, and ill be having my flowering in the grow tent ,

how do you guys think i should do it? to get the most yield? have like just 5 rows, 10 pots per row? Screen of green style? or should i LST them ? or just soil and top them for multiple colas?

lets brainstorm this guys , this is gonna happend 1st of jan , so i got 15 days to plan it out !

hey bonzing i'm a noob here but have an idea if you are a decent grower or have some experience you should keep the closet for clones from the mother and keep the mother there too, also you can use a little section in closet for the veg cycle too, and in your 5 ft x 10ft tent i recommend like 30 plants 4 weeks apart from each other in flowering, set 1/ 4 weeks in flowering set 2/ 8 weeks into flowering and set 3/ 12 weeks into flowering. and in veg you keep 10 which is 1 set at 4 weeks in veg and your clones say a few days or 2 weeks old etc. basically you will get a harvest every 4 weeks if done properly.

but what about, the Topping plants or Light stress stretching or do a sea of green or Screen of Green? to get the max yield of good quality weed

The bigger the light the bigger the yield. In other words, you will get a much bigger yield with a much bigger light than any amount of LST, SCROG, or SoG can give you. All things being equal a SCRoG will probably net you the highest yield, but its a whole lot more work.

hmm , so do you think , a 1000 watt hps ( with reflector & ballast ) & a 400 watt cmh light , would be the best?

and ill go take a look into a Scrog

Hey buddy I would opt for two 600s they are the most efficient ballast, watts to lumens and should throw a good light pattern for a room that size.......or 3 400 cmh..... I can't really visualize how you would set up a 1000 hps and a 400 cmh in a tent that size and get good coverage and blend the spectrums between light types unless there is something I am not noticing like........two sections in the tent

yo i got a question , should i get a 1000 watt hps , and a 400 watt , for the grow tent? or 600 watt & put my 400 watt in there?

or is it just better for the price, to get a 1000 watt ?

and its gonna be a 5ft by 10 ft tent

also, i was thinkin, what about a 1000 watt hps light, on a Rail, going 1 side to the other , would that be good enouth for the plants? or you guys think i need 2 lights

and ive already have a 400 watt set up ,so im just missing another light ..

2 - 1kw hps. If you have mother plants and cuts are no issue, throw a 4x8 ebb and flow table in there and run a true sog with zero veg time. 4 plants per sq ft. 4x8=32. 32x4=128 plants.

Then you could even add 32 plants every two weeks and start a perpetual harvest.

IMO 2 1000 watt lights would rock that tent. My veg room is about 10'x6' and I am running 2 1000w MH they are perfect to fill that room. My flower room is about 16'x6' and I am running 4 1000w hps which also does very well.

shoot me in the head but, what does perpetual means? and also whats a Ebb ? a flow table im guessing thats a table with holes in it, so air comes from down, going up to the fan right?

I'm going to have to agree, you'd get the best results with 2 1000 w hps how many plants are you planning on throwing in the flower room, because in theory, if you have the time, you could throw say 2 1000 w hps and scrog it for max results with simply anywhere from 6 - 12 plants and you'd get amazing results I would guess, assuming everything goes accordingly.

Perpetual means constantly moving. So you're always taking cuttings from your ma's, cloning them, vegin them out, throwing em in flower, and harvesting, all perpetually so that every two weeks you can harvest a given number of plants.

oooooh, makes sense, but my budget, to buy equipment is only of 1000$ , hmm

so i gotta get myself, the tent ( 400 ish dollars ) , meaning ill have only like 500 left, for it ... HMMMM , wait a second, DAMMIT , lol light turned off, oh wait i got the box!

ill check see if my 400 watt ballast, can take a 600 watt light, maybe a 1000 too

so you guys think , Sea of green would be best? i would not do a Screen of green since, id be stuck fighting the damn chiken screen all day long

Perpetual means, as suggested, you would be harvesting 32 plants every two weeks.

An ebb and flow table is basically a hydro setup that would have a reservoir of water/nutrients, with a pump system (or hand water) that would cycle the water/nutrients, catch the drain off then re-cycle every set interval.

You would need to change out the water every so often, as well top up the reservoir when needed as the plants/roots would suck up lots every cycle that doesn't return.

Ebb/flow is the system I used to use. Worked very well, and reliable, and simple to set up.

checked, S51 , only saw 400 watt, could be wrong but , dont think so ..

so no veg time you guys think ? hmm

Ebb and flow table huh ?

now would this even be possible, for a 132 plants system?! O.O ?

ebb and floor table, is'nt that the round white tubes, with a series of holes , each 1 ft?
