When you could be forced to work 60 hours a week for no overtime pay and on the weekends
When you could be fired and black balled from getting a job in the same city
no health insurance, no workers compensation

Work until you die on the job and if you are lucky you can get your kids out of school to work with you in the factory

Yeah that's why I started digging footings at 15, make my own living, and have never been on government assistance.

i thought the 15% only kicked in at 8-9k or so. the chart is only a few pages back, but i'm not gonna bother looking as it's not important to my ongoing boner duel with beennowhere.

the funny thing is, this kid i grew up with, who was always, and still is for that matter, the biggest racist i know, and about as conservative as you can get, just so happens to be my age, 42 or so, and lives off of ssi because he "hurt" his arm picking up some heavy lady while driving an ambulance a few years ago..
mind you, we went to a concert idk, a year or so ago, and he was stage diving left, right, and center, yet he can't get a job, and collects ssi.. oh yeah, no to mention, he ref's girls hs soccer in the fall, and sky dives when he has the time..
constantly bitches about o'care, even though i'm sure being on ssi, he gets his insurance for free via medicaid, and is prescribed enough meds daily to knock out a horse.. oh yeah, just saw he's suing medicaid the other day now because they're not paying for the slew of meds he's on btw too..

what's the moral of this story?? loser people come in all sorts of races, sizes, creeds and colors, not to mention political affiliation, but i really do love all of these super prejudiced threads, like why do ALL progs feel entitled, or w/e the subject is..
