Now I'm lost, using a machine lowers the quality tremendously?...and why isn't the Frenchy method listed on page 1 of this thread?.No offence to Jorge Cervantes but this dude isnt legit. He might be a celbrity on the cannabis scene but this hash making method is wack - i'm not big on his culero video or others i've seen to be honnest - i've used it the fisrt time i made hash and when i did Subs hand stir method i understood what full melt bublle hash meant!
Using a machine lower the hash quality tremendously - even when using the lowest power - as i said my second wash on my last run was a little greenish and that's already too much to me - i was hand stirring. Sure you might gain weight but weight isnt the only criterion, as i said before i wouldnt exchange a kilo of full melt bubble hash against 100g of Charas just like i wouldnt exchange 10kg of J.Cervantes hash against 100g of Frenchy's hash...

I understand, wish I had enough trim to use my clothes washing machine.I wasnt talking about the Washing machine but the hand mixer. The washing machine doesnt seem to put on a beating on the leafs just like the handmixer is. The washing machine seems to move around the greater mass while the handmixer puts a lot of force in particular spots.
I dont think one could - and wants to - create that much pressure doing the hand stirring method Subcool does. I believe this is the very reason why this method works best. Just like in dry sievieng you're not suppose t beat the trim like crazy, doing it in bubble bags just creates more residue when what you want is the trichomes and only the trichomes.
I wouldnt feel good about using the washing machine myself but i guess frenchy deals with such amount of trimming that he doesnt want to do the hand stirring method, plus with such large quantity i dont think the force created by the mashine can hurt his final product. If he was putting half the trim he puts in the machine maybe it would. The ice/water/trim ratio is what it really comes down to i guess and i wont put my hands on so much trims in the near future.
With the quantity of trim i handle hand mixing is definetly the best way. Understand that when i said machine are bad i was only speaking about th e handmixer not the washing machine, but you can quickly get the difference between those two machine in the way force is apply to the trim
The problem with dry ice technique is the shaking which is way to hard to get quality, high quality sieving is very gentle. You are not using supercooled air to collect your trichomes, you are shaking blocks of dry ice and trims in a bag which is quite different.

Dry sieving will produce the highest quality my friend, it all depends how you do it.
