Awesome lookin bud! What kind of smell do they have, I have been contemplating the purchase of some GDP.
She smells amazingly sweet man... After i finished trimming her i couldnt stop smelling my fingers... if your contemplating whether or not to try it, id say go for it... i have the kens gdp version. i know its not the "real" kens gdp cause that was a clone only strain but his seeds have really done well too! rock hard nugs all over the place.

I was lucky to catch them when they were available in pick n mix. cant imagine my self buying 10 seeds for over $100. i only bought a few but i got 2 different pheno types in the bunch. this one is the stretchier of the group. thats why i just flowered her right away. the other ones i have for mothers were really short and bushy with tight internode spacing. cant wait for those...

Nice. 808 is that from a 2l?

Moe you inspired me. Took about 70 more cuttings. No more down time for me. Got about 130 cuttings rooting. If 100 of them root vigorously I can choose 50 best for next run. Only a week into flower but that shoud put timing just right. They will have a good 5 weeks plus to really root out under my led and cfls so they are ready to rocket in their week veg under my hps and halide. At some point I am going to run a homogenous room with one strain but I just took 4 cuttings off each seed female and a bunch off of gods gift, skunk, and sand widow...oh and more blue dream.

I have a feeling the sand widow might be my full room strain...every cutting grew into a 15-18 inch across 16 inch tall multi branched bitch (with some super cropping)

Shiva, I'm curious...what is the medium your clones are in there? Kinda looks like rockwool wool. Also, is that duck tape around the stems on the un-planted ones? Does that keep the air from moving up the stems?

Hey Everyone, Just posting, so far so good in the Vault starting blooming, Thanks to everyone who have posted to this tread and everyone who helped me get my plants to first bloom, Prae, I planned to fill the jugs when I locate more Perlite...But I may just cut them down...I have had some in there for awhile. My local store has not had any for 3 weeks :(, so I'm using soil and plan on putting those plants outside when it gets nice, so no real waste...

Hello Hempy Brethren

I tore down my room and rebuilt a Bigger and Stronger structure, as well as Separated the Veg and Flower Rooms, and thought I would share a couple of pics.

Here is the New Mother area, complete with Flood Tray and 8 Lamp T-5 (brand new). Mothers are in 1 Gallon containers, and we took clones from them last weekend :-P

The Clone Tent is also in the same room with the Mothers. I am exhausting as you can see, and I have a Passive intake down below. I think I will end up needing another intake before all is said and done,, But so far, everything seems to be running correctly.

I also Transplanted 4 Ladies into their 3 Gallon Buckets (from 1 Gallon Containers), and put them under the Screen. They were already a little taller than the screen, so the Training began immediately. Up on Deck is (1) Grand Daddy Purp, (1) Afghan Kush (2) Northern Lights x Big Bud. I didn't plan on putting this many strains in, but I gotta get rid of some plants so I can Pop some new seeds in the next couple of weeks :leaf:

These ladies are still in Veg, but by the looks of it, I will be flipping to Flower in a Week or so.

Everyone (Mothers and Flowering) are in Coco with the Perlite Res and being fed CSN17 every other day.

Happy Hempy's Eveyone!!!

The above were finished out, dried, and cured....they struggled with mag def. and some serious ph lockouts...they are 2 northern berry, and 1 diesel cross...I puffed a little of the fully cured dx and it has me so euphorically stoned I couldn't be happier with the results...It makes me feel like my hands and feet are floating inexplicably at the same altitude...anyway, I'm posting this smoke report here just to give props to our amazing plant and provide one more data point in the proof that these girls, like all of Mother Nature, handles our fuck ups and still finds it in her heart to give us back better than we give her (sometimes).. :peace:

Sand widow - I've never heard of that strain Shiva. Link to genetics/description? Have you flowered it all the way through before?
I babe never flowered it before. I also cannot find any info at all on the strain. I am guessing that it's a locally made pollen chuck. I was able to sample some of the smoke and it's very unlike white widow. I would almost say it has a trainwreck like smoke. I got it from a buddy at SMMA on 45th and Fremont. Was told it's stable aka no Hermie traits and guy who grows it just recently relented and gave up cuttings. He has been selling the bud to SMMA.

I do know that growth is extremely vigorous...except on two of the cuttings. Plant structure is great...with minor super cropping they all put out 7 to 10 nice long branches with well spaced internodes. If the flowers fill out into Colas these will be heavy producers.

Yeah dude Rockwool I know there are better mediums but Rockwool is how I learned and I.usually get much better than.90% success using it. The duct tape was just to keep the cuttings separate. I have a bunch of from seed crossed that IM flowering and wanted to keep track of each plants cuttings in case I find a gem. I always recut in a bowl of water before applying rooting hormone to.avoid air embolism.

Ok I got all the questions now, after doing some research, I have to know. All you guys using OC+, is this your first grow with it? Have you encountered any problems with it? And if you have used, did it help produce a larger yeild? Oh, and at what rate are you using it at?

Speaking of root hormone.

I just tried the 'Root it' brand of root gel and found it worked well in my Aero. After 10 days in the aero I could still see gel attached to the stem. The stuff sticks like s**t on a blanket. ... 'clonex' seems less viscous than it use to be.

What brands of hormone do you guys use?

I'm gonna have to watch the embolism thing. On my last couple of clone runs in the Aero I had a few rotten stems. It may have been embolisim or scrapping too much with a razor.

I have an old bottle of Rootone powder that I use, cut, dip and stick in either rockwool or rapid rooter's. I have had a good 93% success rate.

I use to say I had a 100% success rate, then I grew more clones and the success rate dropped. Its stabilized at about 95-98%. In my 2x50 site cloner I get between 2-5 rotten stems or weak roots.

I'm running some testers right now to see how they perform. I went with a more than average dose in my solo cups too at 1 TBL spoon per cup and am testing the "no burn" factor. Wattsaver is really the expert and has given me the courage to attempt it. While I wondered how they'd turn out, I'm not surprised to say very healthy and well. In fact, I cant wait to see how they flower out in a 2 liter. They are getting RO water and Cal Mag. I first set out to see if I could get away without PH'ing, but once I actually tested the PH and saw it was 7.8, I quickly added some down and have gotten it perfect. Feed the OC+ Hempy's at 6.0-6.2 water and as Wattsaver said "you'll get sick of looking at green healthy plants". Well said watt. You are absolutely correct!

Tonight's chore is recycling Mapito. It's probably the most difficult because the roots grow through the RW.

I leave to soak in water for an hour whilst I smoke a joint. Then pick through as many roots I can. Its as simple (or difficult) as that. ..then I'll leave to soak for 24hrs in a Hygrozyme solution and drain.

Getting all the dead roots out of this thing is proving impossible. I can't see this 'Mapito' being recycled more than once, I'll throw it after the next run.

I soak my Rockwood in water that has been steeped with small willow tree branches that have the bark loosened. I also use Clonex gel but have had very similar results with.just soaking rockwool in willow water. I think with your cloning method Moe you might try infusing some water with willow branches . I am convinced that it makes a difference in rooting speed.
