Dank ... In the last picture (Qrazy Train) that you are letting go another week, are you flowering in the solo cups?
Hey Moebius, loving your lemon kush and lemonator. The solo cups? Nah, I just use the solos to establish a good root ball. I find using the stepping stone (solo cup) gets them to the res faster to explode. I also like making sure that they are about 8" in the solos before transplanting them. The urkel in qrazy train is a SLOW vegger and everything I've read has said it's worth it.

Edited:

I like the 2 liters a lot. I hate having to water them though. If you want the ability to drop strains, 2 liters are the way to go. Fat stacked buds on them too. I want give main-lining a try though. I could easily get 4 8-headed monster with fat colas.

Well dank50 I hope you keep updating your plushberry, haven't decided if that will be my next grow or if I'll do The Flav. I plan to do all 5 seeds in 3.5 gal buckets and try to mainline a couple.

So I've cut down the two liberty haze moms that I trained over the last few months, kinda sucks but I am looking for something different in terms of growth pattern and internode distance. I have four Snow White seedlings that just hit their 5th internode each, I am super excited to try them out after following a number of 420-fied's SW 2l SOG plants on 420 Mag... The leaf structure and internode distance look very similar to his SW. All the seeds I got were big and all of them popped super fast and strong, better than any of the other seeds I've grown. I know that finding a pheno like his may be a slim chance but if I can get any of these 4 to produce close to his SW I will be happy.

Hey you guys quick question. I've got the ladies tucked nice in a couple solos and I'm pretty sure judging by the growth rate that they've hit the res so my question is this. When do you guys transplant to final containers? A certain height or what? I was thinking about LST but I really might not have to do much if I can just keep it in the solo til I do the switch.

Not sure about the others and their practices, I take a seedling after it has developed good roots out of a cube and grow it in the cup for a couple weeks to insure a nice root ball. Depending on how large your final container is that you will grow in and how deep you place it will determine how long it takes the roots to get to the res. Generally a week to ten day give or take a day or two. Once you see substantial growth begin, start training your plant. It's the pactice I use and has worked well for me.

Here's a picture of the mom I flowered already (these are clones from the same mom).

Thanks for the quick reply Tx. I'm going to be transferring into 3 gal. Here's a couple pics today at day 15-16 IMG_0405.jpgIMG_0409.jpg How much longer would you guys personally leave in the solo?

Only been a week into bloom and I have little nuglets already. Never have I had that in soil/less. Also think I had my hood to close and was getting some slight bleaching on the leaves. Moved the hood up accordingly. Will post pix at 2 weeks. Peace!!

idk if those pics posted right so here's one of them side by side View attachment 2530323
They could go quite a bit longer. I had some seedlings in solos for almost 4 months..they do get pretty rootbound but if you water em daily they do fine. Ill try to find pic...plants were about 20 inches tall with half inch thick stalks....I woukdnt suggest keeping em in solos that long of course.

For me seems like seedlings fill a solo with roots in about 4-5 weeks. When id take em out at the size you have half the medium would be loose. Thats not to say you couldnt put em in bigger containers of course.

Moe you inspired me. Took about 70 more cuttings. No more down time for me. Got about 130 cuttings rooting. If 100 of them root vigorously I can choose 50 best for next run. Only a week into flower but that shoud put timing just right. They will have a good 5 weeks plus to really root out under my led and cfls so they are ready to rocket in their week veg under my hps and halide. At some point I am going to run a homogenous room with one strain but I just took 4 cuttings off each seed female and a bunch off of gods gift, skunk, and sand widow...oh and more blue dream.

I have a feeling the sand widow might be my full room strain...every cutting grew into a 15-18 inch across 16 inch tall multi branched bitch (with some super cropping)

Take a quick look at the 'lilmafia513' guide to transplanting Hempy.

You'll just have to keep em' all misted and humid and you should be good. .... Ive been failing with RW clones recently, I'm too used to the Aero now.

blowincherrypie, I would keep them in the solo hempys until you feel you are having to water them every day. You know they have a solid root system and are ready for transplant. I like to squish the cup a bit to make it easier to slide out. Always grab the base of the stem and turn upside down. Jiggle the cup a little to gently knock out the roots. They fit perfectly right above the res in a 2 liter bottle :)

Sand widow - I've never heard of that strain Shiva. Link to genetics/description? Have you flowered it all the way through before?
