Here is an example of radical leftist legislation.

Behold the lack of detail in Bernie's radical leftist healthcare plan that he released in 2017:

SEC. 401. ADMINISTRATION.
(a) General Duties Of The Secretary.—

(1) IN GENERAL.—The Secretary shall develop policies, procedures, guidelines, and requirements to carry out this Act, including related to—

(A) eligibility for benefits;

(B) enrollment;

(C) benefits provided;

(D) provider participation standards and qualifications, as described in title III;

(E) levels of funding;

(F) methods for determining amounts of payments to providers of covered services, consistent with subtitle B;

(G) the determination of medical necessity and appropriateness with respect to coverage of certain services;

(H) planning for capital expenditures and service delivery;

(I) planning for health professional education funding;

(J) encouraging States to develop regional planning mechanisms; and

(K) any other regulations necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act.

(2) REGULATIONS.—Regulations authorized by this Act shall be issued by the Secretary in accordance with section 553 of title 5, United States Code.

Medicare for all is not in and of itself radical although it is socially leftist in fact. What makes this plan radical is the radical left's expectation of the speed of enacting this shit plan into law along with the lack of detail in the legislation. Bernies plan would radically alter a quarter of the US's economy and was released with no detail on how it would be run or funded. It was released this way because the Radical Left has no patience or desire to participate in governing. They want to rule.

This is but one characteristic of radical left behavior. Another is anger and hostility to people who ask questions or doubt vague answers and want to know what they are voting for beforehand. As if the details will just take care of themselves and asking to put flesh on that framework is unreasonable to ask for. The third characteristic that makes these vermin so poisonous is how they use right wing propaganda tactics to falsely smear hard working officials who actually do the work and gain consensus on a legislation or regulations before taking action. An example here is how the radical left is smearing Kamala Harris for the calls she made as DA or AG. The radical left has chosen Bernie and anybody challenging him, be they Harris, O'Rourke, Warren or Tulsi Gabbard will face their propaganda and lies.

define 'radical left'..what three things describe this? living wage? healthcare for all? school for all? just curious..

1.
2.
3.
If you go too far to the left in the current American political environment too quickly, it will alienate the majority of the country. I'm for all of the things you described above and live in a country where single payer health care and living wages are a reality and higher education is affordable. Soon we will be in a social environment where these things are a given in a normal democratic society, but America is not there yet. In Canada we are looking at things like a basic income, but in the world we live in now you need enough national wealth. Technology and time will change this, but fundamental changes to the economic structure of the world must start in America, the economic center.

Here is the kind of stuff that inspired this thread and the problems it predicts, solutions are in the future as well.
How we'll earn money in a future without jobs | Martin Ford
Machines that can think, learn and adapt are coming -- and that could mean that we humans will end up with significant unemployment. What should we do about it? In a straightforward talk about a controversial idea, futurist Martin Ford makes the case for separating income from traditional work and instituting a universal basic income.

This is absolute bullshit, pushed by those who have vested interests in keeping the Democratic Party the way it is, representing entrenched financial backers, rather than the average voter.

The worm is turning and the word has gotten out about how the Democratic Party has sold out its base. Either it performs some serious self examination, 'comes to Jesus' and mends its ways or it will be crushed yet again by a republican party that knows it represents only a quarter of the country's population but does everything it can to suppress the opposition.

That was an insulting and fact-free post.

The worm is turning and word has gotten out about how people who call themselves Progressive are being used by Right wing conservatives. Either Progressives perform some serious self examination, "come to Jesus" and mend their ways or they will continue to shrink in influence and the few remaining hangers on become comical, angry, marginalized, loud but powerless faction in the Democratic Party that are used by Right Wing Propaganda "think tanks" to suppress votes for Democratic Party candidates.

Just look at all the "we'll figure it out later but vote now" line items in the section I copied from the bill. The bill is littered with these gaping holes in details.

@Padawanbater2 @ttystikk @schuylaar , come on out and defend this piece of shit written by your Saint Sanders.

Kind of like how they insisted THAT WE MAKE A CHOICE about who we would vote for in 2020 before anybody but Bernie had made it clear that they would be running. They are weaklings and cowards - and that bill is D- work at best.

Seriously? You're complaining because there is no 'charismatic leader'?

The leaders of the New Left are emerging even as we speak.

I wonder if any left side politician today can impress given the media exposure, social media and right wing propaganda machine aimed against them in today's world.

In any case, it's too early to decide IMO. I'm waiting until at least after the debates.

Was there a politician running for Prez that impressed you?

Lol

Such drivel.

AOC is already incredibly popular, even though she isn't running for president. Anyone she endorsed will get a huge boost.

American voters realized just how badly the Sanders campaign was treated and punished the DNC and the Democratic Party for it.

It remains to be seen if the establishment Democrats running those organisations learned their lesson- or care if they lose.

Yes, Cult of Sanders is impressed with empty words.

I'm not. When selecting candidates for a job, the top two items on my interview list is and always has been, works well with others and the able to achieve results in difficult situations. Cortez hasn't had enough time to show she does either very well. Of course, since you love Sanders so much, clearly you don't consider either of those criteria important.

what world do you live in tty? aoc is incredibly popular? where? maybe in the five foot circle immediately surrounding you....the fucking hillbillies here don't even know who she is....if they're aware of her at all, she's an "uppity mexican"......and that, of course, is fucked up.......but it's still the way they are....you badly need to take a trip cross country in a crappy rental car, wearing cheap clothes. go to crappy bars and cheap diners...go to laundromats.....go to family dollar and dollar general...go to thrift stores.....and in all of these places, ask people about who they support politically....the few coherent answers you get will surprise you...i guarantee it......you make huge assumptions about what poor people want...and i'm pretty fucking sure you've never been poor tty...so you have no clue what poor people really want....i live with the mother fuckers....i know what they want....and it ain't AOC.....
