The classic arguments of left vs right are going to be rendered meaningless, we are all headed for communism thanks to technology. The crunch is already on, in spite of the low unemployment numbers, people can sense it's coming subconsciously and it's adding to their fear. In any case it will be a hard leap to some future utopia and a lot of trouble and strife to get there...

The future = A lot of people but fewer jobs that might be considered self-supportive. It is fairly obvious that a non-authoritarian government of the future is going to have to be what one might call socially democratic. Communism? Nah.

It's just good business.

I meant the last bit humorously, but it is also true.

This won't happen without a revolution. And it won't happen here anytime soon

Americans are too lazy and complacent to bother. After all, do you see us acting like French citizens and demonstrating in the streets for better treatment?

Me neither.

Then you won't be living in a democratic country, people's wallets determine their attitude. It won't be just the uneducated and stupid that will be unemployable, lots of smart, educated and motivated people will be too, the kind of folks who make history...

Good thing farmers are 1% of the population.. Laughs as he gets $1.50 a head for romaine...
Most of the population farmed not so long ago, they were the first to suffer from technological innovation, a corporate robot will soon be able to grow anything ya want. The point is, if ya extrapolate current and past tends you get to very rich society that has most of the work done by machines. People will be seen as either valued human beings or useless mouths and I'm betting on the valued humans. Folks will be free with minimum incomes and lot's of recreation time and the means to pursue it or dead. Remember the root of the word economy is the same as ecology and an economy is an ecosystem, the little fish have to survive and thrive so the big fish can eat.

You've done nothing. You didn't even vote in your own primary and you have done nothing to advance any candidate except to routinely discredit those who you support with your posts.

Frothing up your computer screen doesn't make you not lazy, Tty. You have done literally nothing to significantly advance your cause. Me not following your feckless "call for revolution" doesn't make me complacent either. 99.9% of people are better judges of character than you are so for you it is a numbers game. Approach a million people with your whack-a-doodle ramblings and 100 will follow you for a post or two. After ten posts you will only have ten followers. After a hundred posts you will have one. So you have to keep busy. Schuylaar's don't grow on trees. People that gullible are your "natural resource" - like diamonds. Even Padawan realizes you are a total crackpot and will only offer you mild encouragement.

You will be the last one to get the joke. That's the way this shit works. Watch, you will find out soon enough.

I think you're starting to describe the country as it already is.

I most certainly did vote in my primary --and you're still screaming stupid obscenities and then expecting to be treated as if you're intelligent.

You keep making personal attacks like they mean anything.

You have nothing to say.

Uh huh.

So are you going to vote in 2020?

Are you sure?

Indeed and as creators we have the upper hand. Creating jobs is the hard part.

Look, eventually people are gonna be eliminated from most productive functions, we're talking 20 to 30 years into the future and just extrapolating current and past trends while looking at coming technologies. If you live in a free country most people will be on a national income of some kind.

Firearms will probably be banned in the USA within 30 years too, the second amendment is on it's way out you can see the ground swell building. The NRA is finished because they committed treason and is now bankrupt with much of it's leadership resigning in disgrace, criminal charges are coming for some of them at least. With in 6 years most of the states and all of the federal government will be controlled by the democrats and the republicans are going to be in disarray and divided, probably into two parties. Even in the south the GOP is in deep trouble.

Get on board with HR1 and get your country back in the hands of the real people, you'll be hearing a lot more about HR1, so will the republicans.

America ISN'T a Democratic country; it's an oligarchy masquerading as a democracy. We 'democratically' choose between nominees chosen for us by the oligarchs.

Just like obese people losing weight (another problem Americans commonly delude themselves about), nothing will change in America until we realize the basic facts of our situation.
