Hey look, for the thousandth time, why should I vote for a party that doesn't represent my interests?

I'm no fan of Trump but you're demanding that I vote vote for another bunch who gives no fucks about me in order to get rid of him.

What's the point?
Exactly. You cry socialist but support fascists.

if the democrats don't represent more of your interests than republicans.......you should proudly wear your red hat comrade
This makes no sense at all.

It also does nothing to encourage those who think as I do to vote with you.

You need better arguments than, 'but Trump!'

@Padawanbater2 has a great signature graphic that sums up how our political system has been working for the last several decades.

I don't want to go to the right and at the same time I won't vote for a party that blocks any movement back towards the left.

Therefore I'll vote for the candidate that best represents my interests.

If you can't respect that then you
A. Have no faith in your party and
B. Don't respect democracy.

Bernie votes with Dems 90 percent of the time. I would say his views fall more closely with Dems than Repukes. Whats so hard to understand about that

Why did Bernie run as a Democrat ? Did he have no faith in his party ? Does he not respect democracy ?

that's exactly what i just said.....vote for the least harmful candidate....that would be the one that best represents your interests, even if they don't represent very many of them....even if NONE of them directly represent your particular interests...you still pick the one that's going to cause the least amount of shit to hit the fan....

I've been faithfully doing that for my entire voting life and the result is that the country has relentlessly moved to the right.

The occasional victories by Democrats have been used as justification by TPTB that somehow the majority of Americans are supportive of this state of affairs, leading to a stubborn and arrogant lack of openness or willingness to listen to their constituents, let alone fight for them.

I'm done with that false choice.

Continuing to do the same thing while expecting different results is the definition of madness.

Besides, there are now politicians who DO represent my interests- so why should I undercut their positions by supporting anyone else?

Losers like tty but also survivalists, religious apocalypse cults are losers because they are inept in life and incapable at social interactions. Tty and others are losers in today's society who blame their lack of success on a conspiracy, not their own ineptitude. They want "revolution" because "the man is keeping them down".

Do you even listen to yourself?

Do you think before you open your mouth?

How in the fuck can you defend a system where 40% of Americans are living in poverty and a tiny few are outlandishly rich- yet pay nothing back to our society?

You AREN'T thinking at all; you've swallowed the neoliberal line of bullshit hook, line and sinker.
