If both parties choose nominees that win their primaries based on who got the most cash from the same tiny uberclass of ultrarich donors, how exactly does choosing one over the other make any difference?

Trump is a boor, certainly. Yet most of what he's done can be fairly described as not bothering to put a genteel face on the ongoing destruction of our country, from our democratic institutions and constitutional rights to our environment and financial future.

Trump is a symptom of what's been going on since Eisenhower was president. He is not the cause. Both parties, or more accurately the financial backers of both parties are to blame.

lots and lots of people don't agree with me....about all kinds of things. i encourage people to disagree with me...it occasionally gives me pause when they argue well enough to penetrate my wall of ignorance....but you're just bouncing off lately......

They advertise themselves as representing average Americans but they act like they represent only the richest 5%. I don't find that honest it acceptable and of course I don't think they represent me.
