There are several laws that provide the Constitution to be over ridden.
Martial Law is one of them. George Washington used it to lead armed troops on U.S. soil to quell the whiskey rebellion. Lincoln actually used it and got rid of Habeas Corpus during the civil war so he could hold suspected agents of the south indefinitely without cause.
The Patriot act is another.
It's painfully obvious you are clueless on how the law works.
Just because you're a blithering idiot and don't understand basic law doesn't mean the government was doing anything wrong.
It's just that people pander to idiots like you to create an issue where there isn't one because they know you're too fucking stupid to know any better and will drink their cool aide, support their cause and help promote it.

America's actual military budget, once all operational, black budget, surveillance, subsidies to allies and other expenditures are tallied, is closer to $1.7 trillion dollars annually. The advertised budget, as repugnant and obscene as it is, actually understates the total by over half.
That means that America's annual military costs exceed the entire rest of humanitys' put together, nevermind the towering unsustainability of it.
Our 'National Security' State is by far the biggest threat to our nation's future but is any discussion made of this fact on mainstream media? Of course not! It might cut into profits! Who cares how many millions of innocent civilians around the world are murdered in our name?
But by all means, keep screaming about Russia! After all, that $1.7 trillion needs all the justifying it can get!

Anyone who's been to college knows that going to class is the beginning of one's education on the subject rather than the end. To educate one's self, one must dig into the subject, read widely different sources, deliberately seek out opposing views, think carefully about the arguments posed, validate and verify the facts and then apply critical thinking skills to come to one's conclusions.
I see exactly no evidence that you or most of your sycophants here engage in anything resembling this intellectual process, preferring mutual adulation to informative discourse.

Snowden, the whistleblower, exposed the fact that Americans are the most surveilled people in human history, far surpassing anything the East German Stasi ever did. If that isn't the very most egregious and blatant violation of our 4th Amendment Rights, then pray tell what it would take?
