you are too late: CannaVenture crossed their Agfani#1x Afgani Old School back in the late 90's

it stunk so bad is was an immediate BOMB scored so low its unreadable

....It's a short, greasy plant, from the Afghani side.

https://www.choice-cannabis-seeds.com/cannaventure-seeds-road-kill-skunk/prod_269.html

Who has the stinkest Road Kill Skunk?

good luck
Thank you for the luck my friend ;)

The road kill we have doesn't really resemble that one but I bet it is fire!

Even though the competition is real, I just want to get this out there and not really in this to compete, so to speak. I just want to share these fine genetics with the community and those searching for the real deal in its unadultered natural form.

I hope someone can run these two side by side in the future!

I still have a great feeling about it.

As far as I know, our ky road kill is not from the Afghani line. It was around before Afghanis made a huge presence. Word is it possibly originated from California brought in by hippies in the early 70s. I am almost possibly positive this is uncle festers skunk line aka hells angel skunk...

I do know for a fact people will be blown away when they pop their first pack.

It doesn't even look similar to the plant I grew, everyone and I mean everyone said it was the best dope they ever had or smoked.
I can grow anything I want , and grew the hell out of this plant for a reason.
I know what you mean. I got Santa Cruz Blue Dream that frankly Iam sick of. But it yields like a mother fucker and one of my patients gives me 500 to a grand for a steady supply of it every month. One patient. So I dedicate one lamp in the corner just for Dream. But honestly...Iam tired of growing it. But I dont matter being a caregiver.

Our skunk is very sativa dominant. It also has double serrated leaves and looks nothing at all like an Afghani. I remember when Afghan was brought into my county and the man who brought it. He is long gone, a local legend here. Although the Afghan held some heavy skunk notes in its heritage, it didn't have this same type of smell. Like I said I believe the closest you can possibly get to the pure old school road kill, other than the Ky skunk is Afghan in smell, not in the high, the effects are wayyy different and not the same odor department either (think of the afghan road kill odor as a teaser to the true road kill) its like it is ALMOST there but not hardly. Afghan no matter how intensely skunked out it is, still has that sweetness present in the background even if it is "sickingly sweet". Our road kill is "sickingly disgusting" and only appreciated by those who love the smell of running over a dead skunk.

Edit:

I would love to try that cannaventure road kill afghan though, I have grown out an afghan that looked identical to that one but it was grown with landrace afghan seeds, I have seen a few phenos resembling that photo many of times. I always explained the smell as dirty gym socks and driving by the local chicken houses... Straight dirty sock chicken shit smell, same smell when we fertilize our corn and soybean fields. We have small crops here but you can smell that chicken shit a mile away. The high on that Afghani is top notch as well but in a whole different ball park that true road kill.

If it is the same Afghan I am thinking of the leaves used to yellow very fast by mid flower and it was very short and squat with thin sativa like leaves. Finished super fast outdoors by September 15th and had a great yield.

Yeah, i'd trade a pack of my road kill to those as well.

You prolly have something unique then. In my experience its the hashy burnt tire/pencil eraser funk of Indica/Affie/Kush stuff that can get in the skunk spray ballpark and its the sativa gear that has that sweet candy smell. Just the oposite. Id run what you got. Hell yes I would. Sounds like something different.

The plant I had smelled like two skunks ass's and tasted like lime slurpy. I have no idea how a plant that can smell like that have a taste so different from the smell but it did.
After I stopped growing a guy came up to me telling me about a friend of his who still had a small bag of it he broke out at a party and he told me he instantly knew what it was and who grew it. Even dried and a year latter it still stunk .

You can definitely smell the burnt rubber in her and maybe burning wires as well. But I smell that in a real skunk too. That smell comes out more in the sativa dom pheno than the indica. Yeah like I said, its VERY unique and that is why I think I am in to something. I have never seen anything so distinctively different than any other strain.

I swear to it, no sweet smells here.

That is another trait of the true road kill...

The insanely high odor of the fresh flower is just equally as strong in the dry flower. The smell does not change.

The taste I get is exactly like the smell, only after a decent cure you will get a hint of stale black coffee and burnt plastic as well. I "might" possibly see where you are going with the lime taste but even though limes are fruits, they are not sweet by any means. It could possibly have that flavor, without the sugar added to the smoothie if you get my groove.

But mainly what I get in taste is...

Rotten skunk, burnt rubber, coffee and strong rich earthy musk.

Yeah it is definitely sativa dominant. But there are some more indica phenotypes to be found. All carry basically the same smell and vary very little. All smell the same and never nothing sweet.

Most skunks these days are indica dominant. Because they come from afghan lines and also the dutch bred sweetness into most of the "real" sativa skunks. They started doing all of this way back in the 90s. That's why this strain is special.... Untouched since the 70s. Its road kill skunk in its pure form.

Basically it is just something that very few of the newer generation has seen and most of the mid to older generation only seen in there teenage years if that tells you something. Its a gem.

I was growing and running Dutch strains in the 90's and your right. The Dutch loved taking the Sativas and Haze stuff and breeding in the sweets..fruits and spices. Personally Iam sort of biased towards the pure reek of the kush gear. Burnt rubber. Acrid..skunky..fuelly. And I like the cripple stone as opposed to a light happy sativa high. Are you gonna make beans or cuts available out there?

sorry fellas my computer is messing up a little,
I grew whole crops of this skunk, I could grow anything I wanted with access to anything I wanted,
why would I grow these leafy non cola stacking (medium producing) bitch?
was it because she was fun to trim? the finger was off the chain though,
there are better producers, a lot worse ones too,
no,,,,i grew her because she was the BEST second to none,
even going into the room the smell just stuck to you,
I did everything to keep the smell down too,,ona,,UV smell killers,,,carbon filters, everything all at once and still couldn't keep it from stinking up the whole neighborhood.
everyone thinks you are bull shitting when you tell them this kind of shit,,but I'm not,,,and the ones who really believe me are the ones who got it from me, they knew,,they smoked it,,
no burned rubber electrical wire smells,,pure herd of skunks ran through your grow room spraying everything and everyone down,
it was fucking stupid crazy smell.

I had another plant that stunk like hell , it was kushberry from DNA seeds ,
Great dope just a bitch of a plant to grow,
, real sensitive to light changes and nitrogen.
Phenotypes all over the board too.
I can't stand DNA seeds,
Sorry nothing against you fans of them but I've never grown anything good from them, and the plant I had that was good wasn't stable.
The kush berry I had would start blooming in veg if the light even got a little weak . Or anything other than 24 hours on .
La confidential was crap. Martian was crap. Wonder woman was crap.
These are just my experiences.
I have popped a grip of sub cools gear, all of it good and tasty , only one plant I did not like but others liked the smoke.
I didnt.
Almost none of his gear except a few strains produces well
