This bud i am showing you is a outdoor grown bud from the triangle area, it smells way better then 99 percent of the bud you will see in any dispensaries or legal recreation shops, not a little , a lot better, the buds are always much larger with a overall better bag appeal then 99 percent of most indoor grown bud, it has a THC level of 20 percent , it is called snow land this straign is,
Most smokers are not conisuiers , most are pot heads that want to get high,
Sure there is Don Pierion wine sold, but a lot more boones farm and mad dog 20/20 are sold then Don,
Here's the real kicker, a bag of this wholesale sales for 50 bucks a ounce , in other words 150 percent cheaper then indoor bud? Is indoor as good or better? Sometimes , is it 150 percent better? No way on gods green planet earth,
It can be produced and sold at a fraction of the cost of indoor, how cheap can you produce indoor and still sell it and pay your bills ? This is why indoor growers will go the way of the dodo,
I would put most of our Humboldt and Mendocino outdoor growers bud up against anyone's indoor anytime, anyplace ,anywhere. Not only that, but for a fraction of the cost.
There will still be a few growers who serve the upper level client base, but just very few of them.
And i do agree, most growers are not in it for the long haul ', they just want a fast buck and will be gone next week. And the quality of most growers is not really very good.
I am just waiting for them to go away.View attachment 4335404
I would rather have out door weed over indoor any day.Are out door weed is a lot better then any indoor that I have had.

They both have their plus's and minisus , not everywhere has the climate to grow high quality outdoors, yes there is a such a thing. It is just becoming cost prohibitive to grow indoors. The only way to be competitive is light dep green houses if you are not in California,

At one time KY was as big a growing state as California , the only issue with KY outdoor is it gets hotter then hell in the summer with a high humidity rate (first hand experience at ft knox KY ) California is a bit better in temperatures and humidity for growing, KY growers are some good outdoor growers,

back in the mid 70s to late 80s there where tons of pot growed, but the choppers sent plenty to prison and that slowed down the pot growing BIG crops in ky.there still lots of pot being growed in ky, but not even close to what was being growed back in the day and yes I went to a place and stayed judge sent me behind bars.do not grow no where close to what we did back in the day.now I just get by growing a few pounds for my sealf and life long friends and they have friends and that takes care of what I have over what I need.

Any update on the rks?? I've been looking for these beans for a while and picked up some of the 2020 skunk bud from the nature farmer so I'm a little bummed seeing you didn't find it in the 69 ibl skunk. Maybe I can find the pheno in my bag

the kentucky was the best stuff on earth....nothing new compares to it.. I grew out stuff from seeds from it in the late 80's and 90's, some types were tall and thin leaved, but one i had was short broad leaves and white hairs maybe they turned purple at the end with tiny bits of orange and dark red.. so maybe it was this south american crossed with the aphgani....i had a lucky phenotype that was the best of both worlds (tried growing a 15' tall one indoors it's not fun wrapping around the closet wondering when the hell it would stop growing tall :D but REEKED OF SKUNK

Howdy ladies and gents...

I would like to announce my plans for future reference purposes.

I see a lot of people in the forums and all over the net, also in the "real" world, searching for a good ol' Road Kill Skunk. Well, unfortunately all of those attempts are pretty much failed efforts and a wasted paycheck of a hard working mans hard earned income.

Which brings me to this thread.

I am just an ol' country boy and I have been growing the good herb for a good 16 years. I have had a many of up's and a many of downs along my way. But the one good thing that never fails me, is the friendship I have with the local Old School Kentucky Road Kill Skunk. I have visited Colorado, I have lived in California just a few miles from the triangle. In all my years I have NEVER seen what we have floating around here in the Appalachias ANYWHERE else in the the entire US of A... The Skunk funk that exists in my neck of the woods.....

It is legend. Lots of people from med and rec states have told me suprisngly, that have had the opportunity to toke it, that they had never seen such a thing where they're from. Don't get me wrong I have seen some great skunk out and about in my years, but you know what the issue is with that? There is a sweet note always present and the potency is always lacking. It doesn't turn my stomach and it doesn't water my eyes... The smell, the taste, nor the high.

That brings me to this... In the near future I plan to take truest, funkiest, skunkiest, twisted, one and only (mark my word), LEGENDARY Kentucky Road Kill Skunk and release her to the public. For the first time, since 1970, when she had originally appeared here, she will she working her way to explore the World and make everyone a bit happier with their lives. She is NOT gone. She still exists, but she is planted here, no where else, as her name suggests, she is ROAD KILL.

What had sparked my interests in this particular motive originally, was that I happened to stumble upon post after post, thread after thread, of people on the hunt, for that acrid fermented ZERO sweetness road kill skunk that will have a fixed grin on your face that is uncontrolled, eyes red as the flames of hell, and the deepest euphoria you could ever imagine all in less than 2 tokes. It seems as if it has ceased to exist anywhere else but here and I really did not know exactly how rare it truly was outside of the Appalachia area. Well, I want to correct that issue. I want it to be abundant and famous, just like it was meant to be. She is very sacred to me and I have a love for this specific strain that none other compares... I want breeders of all forms and shapes to work her out and I want her tail raised high in the air, spraying each each and everyone of you right in your face leaving you dazed and breathless for words all while gagging on the euphoria wishing it would never leave. Trust me, you'll be glad she got ya when she is finished with you.

This here Skunk is the real deal folks... A HALF gram of this, double wrapped in your vehicle for less than 5 minutes will remain to linger well into the next day.

Honestly in my years of experience, there are TWO pheno present in the local legend. One has lime green leaves, double serrations with long skinny fingered fans and grows medium to tall and finished outdoor in late October but taken best in early November. She smells of straight pure acrid road kill skunk skunk, more on the fresher skunk side of things (think literally driving down the road on a hot humid night and driving over a freshly butchered skunk)... Yes that smell to the exact. No sweetness at all and after a good cure you get the same smell that makes itself present with the taste as well. Although after the cure it will have a slight smell of strong stale old black coffee lingering lightly in the background but road kill still dominant. Buds are very resinous, sticky and frosty. Hard but spongie and has an array of colors ranging from lime green fading into dark green and almost brownish black colored spots here and there. The high is unbelievably potent. It never fails to make your eyes a bright red color with a sheet of watery gloss laid on top of the flame. Very euphoric and up and in an odd way extremely relaxing at the exact same time. The high is as rare as the strain... Its very unique and "old school" (think skipping school back in the high school years getting blasted on the old school skunk, that good feel you can't hardly get anymore in today's weed) you won't get it out of any other strain. Not to me anyway and the many around here that has smoked her. She has NO ceiling.

The second pheno is medium to tall as well but more on the medium Dr of things. She has darker and wider leaves, sharp serrations and long fingers as well. She finishes just a bit earlier than the first pheno (late Spetember- October) and basically has the same smell only you can add mildewed gym socks, onions and chemical to that smell as well with a heavy hit of musk. The high on this one is a bit heavier but not as euphoric. More stoning than uplifting and can make you extremely confused in large doses. I prefer the first pheno but many indica lovers would be blown by this one...

So my plans are to get the seeds and throw them in with an already established "pheno #1 female" and let them do their thing, a huge stinky, sticky, skunk funk orgy... Open pollination basically. Then work the seeds from there. There is an old man in my area, much more experienced with this strain than I, obviously since he was one of the originals back long ago that assisted in bringing her and spreading her across the , he claims there to be more than the 2 phenos that I peronsally know.

So this is going to be an interesting break into the cannabis world and I am excited to announce I will contribute this to you folks. It will take time and work and my plans are later in the year. Stay tuned, ill be around the forums... But I promise, she is on her way... Try not to vomit when you meet her, she is known for tickling that part of the nervous system and she's make me sweat on a few occaisions... Not only in her acrid but lovingly smell but her high is just damn intense!
It's 2022, where's them RKS KY seeds at?
