I would love to have it. I got hit by weed pirates a few times because of her.
No they really do not comprehend the stink of this bad girl until you have smelled it.
I was very fortunate to have this cut.
I told you the story of me walking into a dispensary in Colorado and it over powered everything he had, all you could smell in there with one small nugget in a sandwitch bag in my pocket, the owner came from behind the counter and asked what I had in my pocket, I broke him off a small piece of the nugget I had in my pocket and gave him my friends phone number ( toasty) he was calling him the next morning for a cut of that plant.
Of course he never did get a cut of it.
Why do you not make any seeds?

Do you guys plan on releasing these after the open pollination? I mean it's being grown each season now from seed now so why not just release these as they are as it sounds like what people are chasing already?

Not to many people grow it.
It's not a hard plant to grow. It's a hard plant to grow and keep from being robbed or go to jail with it.
It's hasn't been grown extensivly in a long long time because people got tired of going to prison growing it or getting robbed.
Yes I would think if you can find the strain it should be pretty stabilized.
I know a few of the good old boys still have it in Kentucky but damn few .

So my plans are to get the seeds and throw them in with an already established "pheno #1 female" and let them do their thing, a huge stinky, sticky, skunk funk orgy... Open pollination basically. Then work the seeds from there.
Sorry Max, my question was for psychadelibud as he was talking about working the line and I was wondering why not just let the seeds go out as they are.

Have you ran DNA RKS?

That shit was full on foul, blocks away from my spot, you could smell her growing... I have not ran anything skunk since that time. My heart was sitting outside my chest, the whole grow.
this is the RKS I know. The shoreline was enjoyed more though. Both are unmistakably Road Kill authenticity.

The elusive Skunk is really what most Skunk collectors seek. The one that smells like skunk spray, not dying, not fruity, doesnt make you nauseous when sniffed. I've had RK made available by a few others too, but that DNA and shoreline take the cake in that line.

now could someone locate/name that other one please?

I had one that was earthy roasted nuts in bloom, foul rotting dead skunk ass when dried n’ bagged.

A few people down here in Southern CA have that old stinky skunk. It can be smelled from the freeway while driving through in a few areas. Have picked up the nose in the same spots for years.

The stuff Ive ran for the last few years...apparently smells like a skunk enough while growing. Because the last 3 grow houses Ive ran had skunks hanging out and spraying right by the basement boarded over window with exhaust flange blowing out. Happened off and on all through my spring and summer indoor grows. 3 different houses... several years now. I think that road kill skunk isnt exactly a true and distinct cultivar but rather a phenotype expression from a group of Indica/Afghan leaning hybrids. Its tucked away real deep in alot of stuff out there. It can be brought out more with some real deal breeding practices.Take some older cultivars like the Skunks from Europe (Flying Dutchman) and work large groups with selection and time..you can get it back. No doubt. I can get rks like smell by taking any of the kushy hash plant smelling types like Glue..Og..or the many others and putting a sack in my freezer....take it out after an hour or so...and my whole house smells like a skunks ass. You all know what Iam talking about.

I plan on both. Releasing open pollination and working out certain phenos. Sorry I left that out.

I also have plans in crossing the road kill to the "real deal" true skva chem 91. How great would that be? Both extremely rare strains coming together as one?

That's not all... The ky road kill skunk to the GG4 comes to mind as well. But what you guys will see most of first is the open pollination road kill skunk seeds, the Kentucky version which I believe is as real as it gets. Then I will start working out particular phenos that hold potency and interests and from the crossing them out to elite cuts and other strains.

Like I said, I have big plans!

this will be an EPIC thread if this shit reeks like you say. i believe you, somebody has to still hold these genetics.

you're about to be legendary

Oh she reeks ;) Wish I was further in the process than what I currently am. But hey, it will be here before you know it!

I don't know about the fame but I give all the credits to the road kill herself and my fellow hillbilly old school hippie friends for making it happen, when it happens.

I am no breeder, but I am learning. I wanna be the one to spread the Road Kill amongst the people that are searching it out. Its such a unique strain and once you've had it, you'll never forget it.

Again, as of now this is ONLY a work in progress and I am taking it very very serious. I do not know of anywhere else in my travels or communications with friends in various states and regions, where this particular road kill is still floating around. I wanna be the one to save it from extinction. I have ran several seeds and some including bagseed that have a similar relation to the Ky road kill, but only slight. All skunks I have ran from ANY breeder have always had that sweet note to it, and that is absolutely no where to be found in this line. Also I have ran many landrace. Afghani seeds, and by that I mean tons and had plenty of phenos exhibiting some very pungent dirty socks, garlic, skunk, earthy and rotten acid smells but still, nothing that compares to this.

Honestly in my opinion, you will find the closest relation to the Ky road kill in landrace afghan genetics... I'm not 100% sure the lineage of the local road kill we have, all I can tell you is it was brought in in the 70s, I learned of it in the late 80s, and it is still here slowly dying out. I peronsally know 3 people including myself that has the local worked seeds.

you are too late: CannaVenture crossed their Agfani#1x Afgani Old School back in the late 90's

it stunk so bad is was an immediate BOMB scored so low its unreadable

....It's a short, greasy plant, from the Afghani side.

Who has the stinkest Road Kill Skunk?

good luck
