This is exactly what I was thinking of doing! I have not installed the filter yet so I'm going to do a quick switch and make that happen!
I will definitely post pictures of my design as I am building my own carbon air filters.

So I see a lot of feedback agreeing with your post.
To kind of clarify on my side. The 3 GDP are regular so i could end up with less than 3. I will also only be selecting the 2 better growing phenotypes to grow fully if all are female.

I plan on growing 5 of the plants in 2 gal smart pots and 3 or 4 of them in plastic pots with holes.

The green crack is hurting and we will see what happens there. A result of the room being hot while tuning it in properly I used it as the sole test subject being bagseed.

I think I will drop veg time closer to 20 days due to everybodys feedback. Also considering im growing around 6-8
Kool let me know how it turns out my only problem is I have a cat running around the house he might use it for a scratch post

Yes small better off growing 2or 3 to get a good yield..

No need to start getting your panties in a bunch ... U really need to get some pussy ....
2 to 3 to get a good yield, please elaborate as you are still talking out your ass and not giving any specifics. I'm starting to thing you are a joke if you can't specify anything. I'm not trying to be a dick but your advice is shit if you are claiming that small plants produces less quality flower than a large plant then you obviously should not be giving advice, please share.

Dude why would u want to work with more plants when u can just handle two or three less work same amount of bud ... The problem with your advice is that you think yours is the only one that’s right that’s advice that I don’t follow because everyone has there own opinions that’s what these forums are for .... U can mainline a plant or just LST it 2or3 get them to have some nice big donkey dick buds or u can grow 12 little buds that average what a1/2 oz dried off each plant if u have good grow skills, when u can get a half oz off two branches from LST or mainlined photoperiod... If u want to grow a lot of little plants your better off getting autos and run them for 18/6 ... DIP SHIT .... Get off the gas with your fucking attitude u internet punk.......You won’t have to worry about much than just grow water and feed after about a month...You act like a fucking troll bro ... U seem like a little 18 yr old that might be a trimmer at dispensary and think u know everything maybe 24 Tops And u probably still haven’t got any pussy have u little bitch... And there was no reason for a long ass response like that cuz he just wanted to know if he should grow a lot of plants or just a few u FUCKING TROLL BLOW ME U INTERNET Punk

...and how long you veg them. Which was kind of my point since he wanted to veg a month.
My next grow will be 2 plants vegged for a shorter time.
ETA: I know i dont know anything, just trying to contribute with my meek experience. I was surprised how big she got, was planning on putting another clone with her for staggered harvest, but she took over. Thought I'd share.

12 plants in a 4x4, 25 day veg, 600 watt HPS, 9 liter pots of coir. Really depends on type of plants you are growing.

@TokyWartooth you can fit a lot of plants in a tent with great yields with proper training and canopy management. This is a 4'x 2' with mainlined plants in 7 gallon square and 3 gallon fabric. Mainlining has allowed me to grow sativa that would never fit unless trained. Mind you this technique is time consuming in the veg stage and will add 3-4 weeks.

As far as quality of buds that is genetics, experience and a whole lot of luck.

Those are cola dominate plants of G-13. These actually lose yield with training, so it's really strain dependent as far as approach to training or not. Her is 8 of 12 plants of Blue Mango grown the same.DSCN0629.JPG

Looks good my NL from nirvana I guess is cola dominant cause training didn’t help she has good calyx to leaves ratio but training her didn’t but I had never grown that strain before so live and learn as far as that goes ... The only way to find out the best way to grow a certain strain is to grow it out and find out

I didn't think 30 days veg in soil is a crazy long time. I could be wrong but I would think plants would still be fairly small.
Depending on the strain one plant vegged for 30 days will get anywhere from 3--6+ feet tall during flowering and will fill 4-9 square feet of space....

It sounds like a plan. I'll be interested in your results.

Have fun, and good luck.

Cheers!

Everyone has mentioned the number of plants could be a bit high for the tent size. Also temps will need to be monitored regularly to avoid spikes.

We did our initial grow with 3 strains, two indica and one sativa. Training the sativa required almost daily efforts to keep the growing field level for optimal light penetration.

Perhaps you could look into a veg and flower tent where you keep mothers/clones in one, and then flower just mainly indica or sativa each session. That way you'll have plants ready for the flower tent once the initial crop is harvested.

In hind sight that would have helped us instead of squishing 7 plants into a 4x4 rather than just do 4 and properly veg out the other 3 for the next run.

Regardless what you decide to do in the end, remember to have fun! Also ask people here questions. The RIU community is amazingly helpful.

At first a was planning on doing some training my topping the plants once or twice. This was the reasoning behind the long veg. To allow healing time. Now that there's a nearly unanimous Agreement that this is too much for one room. I was wondering what training people recommend or to just stick to none, (Christmas tree effect)

Right now I was planning on training the GDP as well because it is growing fairly fast and I have heard it will stretch like a sativa at first during the flowering stages.l

My goal is definitely to have a veg room for clones eventually. My other main goal is to achieve a four plant grow with about a 30 day veg in the 4x4 tent as per the future of Canadian laws.

We have friends in Nova Scotia that can't wait for this to happen. We really hope that the laws allow growing the plants outdoors. As our next visit would be in September, possible harvest time.

Rec limits do not allow outdoor. only ACMPR approved applicants from Health Canada. The Conservatives are pushing to have the personal grow removed, good thing the Liberals don't give a shit about what they think.
