Setup
1000 watt mh/HPS, 2 (45 watt) led for flower, dual t8 for flower
4x4x7 tent reflective white plastic interior.
Carbon filter and fan with ample power.
Rotating office fan for circulation.
Humidifier (in Canada its dry in the winter)
Plastic buckets for bigger plants with many holes.
Mesh pots for smaller plants.
Using coco coir with perlite.
Medi one all in one for nutrients.
Watering using distilled tap water with an air stone inside. I live in an area with possibly the best tap water in North America. I've measured ph consistently during previous (crappy learning) grows. And it's always measured between 5.9-6.4 so I'm not worried about ph. I know ppm and other chems in water is something to consider but I'm aiming to eliminate as many as possible by letting the water stand.

Strains.
1 green crack which is further along than the rest by a week. (Bag seed)
1 GSC with other possible genetics. (Bag seed)
1 Canuck cookies fem (Canuck genetics same as rest of plants)
3 GDP regular
1 Super lemon haze fem
1 Cheese auto fem
2 C99 fem

I'm currently at day 6 let's say of the grow minus the one green crack plant which I planted in advance of the other plants so I could attemp mainlining it. While aiming for a more speedy grow with the rest of the plants. Not sure if this was necessary but no matter. I've already been able to top the green crack plant once, lollipop it as well as tie down the main leaves. All the other plants are in solo cups awaiting transplant under 18/6, other than one c99 which has not fully sprouted and the super lemon haze which is taking its time popping but has moved under the surface of its jiffy pellet.

I'm going to be switching to 12/12 at the 35 day point as I want the plants to get to a reasonable size have some training time but mainly aim for understanding a grow in this environment. Will be feeding according to the medi one feeding schudual. As well as using maple syrup and molasses twice during flower. Any other suggestions are welcome.

I would love any tips on organic teas that people recommend as well as tips on watering schedules for a 50/50 coco perlite mix.
Will be uploading pictures soon.

Accidentally made this post already in newbie central gonna leave it up here and forget about that one (couldn't figure out how to delete it)

Nice set up brother,
I could never keep temps down in a 4x4 with all that power but I don't exhaust outside.
I'm subbed for the ride man

I was thinking bout pulling air to the filter put filter outside tent on the floor to make it the last point so u still have no smell and can still vent out in the room

You're going to put 10 plants, vegged for 35 days, in a 4x4 tent?

I foresee a great deal of trouble for you in the future, my friend.

If even 6 of them really take hold and grow well, you aren't going to have room, unless you're growing in 1 gallon pots.

What size pots are you using?

That's what I do, push my air through a filter on the ground, but the filter is in the same room as my tent. Would be nice if I could located it elsewhere though

Wow I didn't even catch that part. Just skimmed through quick this am.

Dude.. You'd be lucky to fit five flowering plants in that space if u veg over a month.

Yeah 10 plants won’t fit maybe 3-4 ...I didn’t catch that either ....I have four autos in 3x3 and they are crammed so my four would fit in a 4x4 perfectly..So I would say try 3 or 4 so they will fit

Only 5 weeks veg you can do up to 12 plants in a 4x4 I've done it . But depends on strain as well and it will be tight so alot of air circulation is required. Flower at night so temps are lower. Peace sdd

You "can" but it's pointless since 4 will completely fill up the tent. Why waste the seeds and pots growing a bunch of plants with only one bud?

Yeah but you will get 12 small plants a yield very little imo I think 4 or 3 is better so u can get big fat buds instead your gonna get airy punie buds ... What sounds better to u
So why exactly is the product going to be fluffy and punie? Because the plants are small? I would like to be schooled on this because it is in fact bullshit sir. Less veg time = less yield yes, this is a true statement but he also said 12 plants which means less yield per plant but more plants = same potential yield in a small space. All this has nothing to do with quality that rests on strain, environment and grow skills. So if one cannot grow a small plant of top quality flower then one definitely can not grow a larg plant of top quality flower simple.

Yes small better off growing 2or 3 to get a good yield..

This is exactly what I was thinking of doing! I have not installed the filter yet so I'm going to do a quick switch and make that happen!
I will definitely post pictures of my design as I am building my own carbon air filters.

So I see a lot of feedback agreeing with your post.
To kind of clarify on my side. The 3 GDP are regular so i could end up with less than 3. I will also only be selecting the 2 better growing phenotypes to grow fully if all are female.

I plan on growing 5 of the plants in 2 gal smart pots and 3 or 4 of them in plastic pots with holes.

The green crack is hurting and we will see what happens there. A result of the room being hot while tuning it in properly I used it as the sole test subject being bagseed.

I think I will drop veg time closer to 20 days due to everybodys feedback. Also considering im growing around 6-8

Thanks a lot it wasn't easy a lot of wood staples and gorilla tape to air tight the top fully. I just hope the temperatures wont rise drastically as the plants develop. I might be investing in another fan for the floor we'll see.

Yeah man not a bad idea, trust your instincts as they grow but do not underestimate stretch.
My plants tripled in size after flipping to flower, but the strain I'm growing is known for that. Indicas don't stretch as much.
Just keep it in mind brother.

Good luck!
