So the light is only good for 1 year? Or are you just incredibly wasteful?
I like to keep everything fresh! Will you still be growing with the same fixture say 2025? New versions come out with upgrades, but these highpowered chips are reliable if u maintain your unit properly? Make sure u put your hand over the fan to make sure it hasn't went out and never let anything touch the emmiter!!!! that is key!!to the life level!

for a person like myself! Maybe sooner! Although they would run at peak 5-10years easy!
Just dropoff those old chips at Goodwill after 1 year. Red don't like wasting.
Personally I agree with you. Run those veros at 2-3amps and upgrade to new once. Just like the phone upgrade every 18 months.

Lets all talk warranty/servicing of COB based units? Most all servicing can be done by the owner with common hand tools. Just take photo evidence and show optic/heavenbright that a emitter/fan/powersupply is out and they send a new one! simple as that! No down time!Plants Happy! Each Module independently sevicable= WIN/WIN

Here are the sprouts at 5days in RapidRooters! This Vero18/Vero29 Test - (2) Moxie Seeds SnakeVenom (ViperCityXGorillaGlue#4)- (2) MoxieSeeds LemonOg(?)- (3) DNA WhiteAlien (WhiteWidowXMartianMG)
I don't know which strains will go under each unit yet? After The top and I can openin up with training 35days! We shall see?The shorter IndicaDoms will go under the heavenbright so I can keep an even canopy! This will let the heavenbright do what it does best and that is provide even light coverage over the entire canopy!
Now with the Sativa Doms? They will be placed under the optics to let them do what they do best! Provide 90watts of vero29s driven at 2.1 amps with optics lenses to penetrate the canopy! GEDC2674.JPG
