you'r not so naive, sir, though you act so. and to think that i respected you on some level!!! quite obviously for facing the unknown, far from home, in service of his country.

you can do that with greenpeace.

i guess what i'm getting at, is at this point, i would have NO desire to serve my country. :cuss:

you, sir, conveniently added "because" to my statement. you, sir, are hyporcrite of the most odious kind.
I am a female, PLEASE stop calling me sir, or I will start referring to you as Miss.

I did not add because to your statement and act like that's what you said. I added Because to your statement and THEN added a question mark, because I was asking for clarification.

If I had tried to say "You said he's brave because he carries blah-blah-blah" THEN I would be doing what YOU'RE trying to do, and I would indeed be a hypocrite.

But I didn't do that  I merely asked a question, and when you answered it, I accepted your answer did I not? Unlike yourself, who just wants to continue saying I said something I didn't....

Did I clear that up for you?

i don't think my freedoms were ever unprotected. in fact now that the government has stepped in half my freedoms are gone.
true that man... thats the important part... the freedoms are troops are supposedly protecting are being stripped away from us under the umbrella of terrorism which we are supposedly at war with...

see the flaw? while they are protecting our freedoms over seas, they are stripping them away back at home... i think they should be back here in dc with guns to our leaders heads telling em to get their shit straight... that would truly be commendable..

Dopalicious i understand that you want to have honor for your cousin and the fact that he is over there putting himself in danger for his country... but sorry those causes are not noble.. i am not saying it is his fault or that he can do anything about it but the fact is that going overseas to torture and kill innocent people over oil and power is nothing to be proud of.. again it goes with the law of consistency... you want to believe it so bad that you ignore the facts because you dont want to admit that he is a pawn of the government and is being used as a tool of tyranny on foreign lands.. just go research the holy roman empire... same shit... better weapons..

I've got to weigh in here,

Wiki, please don't call him Miss, that's what people refer to me as and I will get confused.

Dopalicious, comparing our governemnt to the Nazi government is not an insult to soldiers. It is saying that just because the government says so, doesn't make it right.

ask not what your country can do you for you then, coward.

How the hell can just justify calling FDD a coward? You don't know his personal situation. Seeing you here on this website tells me that your cowardly ass isn't over there fighting either. :fire:

My husband isn't over there fighting, does that make hime a coward? Hell no. Why , because he is a fucking cardiac patient. :finger:

I also do not feel that my personal freedoms were at risk from Iraq. I have no intention of going over there, it's just another way to justify the slaughter of innocents. :dunce:

The entire Iraq war is a personal vendetta. Bushie the kid is pissed because his daddy and Saddam had a conflict. Or are you not old enough to have first hand memory of that? :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall:

Well that and all the money that is being made from endless war. One must remember that although our economy is in the shitter and millions don't have jobs or are losing their homes, there is a certain group of individuals that are doing very well in this economy, mainly the war contractors and the oilmen. It's all about the money, always has been, always will be. All the political posturing is just to try and get the peoples approval, like inventing terrorists and terror attacks, etc. The populace in general is so fucking stupid, that they buy into it and the frenzy of war is launched.

Yes the Bush family is in oil and Cheny is affiliated with Haliburton, the company that sucked up the no bid contracts to re-build Iraq.

Now after all this bullshit, China gets the oil.

You'd think when someones head gets to the shoulders it won't go up their ass anymore, but our government has proven that wrong.
