I left politics completely simply because it was the best option for me. I however didn't expect him to stoop as low as to ruin the first page of my journal and now this has gone to shit and am just going to have to create a new one which I hate cause I work hard on getting these things started.
I am here in this section for the community to view and comment as it pertains to growing and what I have going on and such, but not politics or anything else that will cause any sort of problems in my thread. I don't want that and it shouldn't be allowed to happen especially here in this section.
I know the mods have a lot to do and I cannot expect them to use their weekend to solve my issue so I'll just give it a bit and see what happens. So any mod reading this post feel free to delete anything that had to due with uncle buck in the post. Quotes and all. If I have any control of this journal what so ever I would just like everything but my update post to go away.

the study i was gonna point to was one where they sent out the exact same resume, one with a 'white name' (emily or greg) and the other with a 'black name' (lakisha or jamal).
the exact same resume, but the ones with a 'black' name on it got half the callbacks.
wasn't gonna cite the studies showing how cannabis usage is about the exact same between blacks and whites, yet blacks get arrested at up to 8x the rate of whites. or the studies showing that just being black means you are more likely to be pulle dover, searched, or arrested. or the studies showing how blacks get worse outcomes in the criminal justice system for the exact same crimes as whites. and on and on and on.

i got impatient ..... and started digging up the seed's i dropped a couple days ago ...... one hasnt popped the starter had a dry pocket around it so i wetted it down ......... most are up now that i knocked a little of the starter out of the way a couple still need to drop the shell's ...... i did lose one or will the root is brown and nasty looking think it was a bad bean to start with

I will always drop mine in some water for two days and then plant it in a humidity dome atop of a heating mat till it sprouts. Usually 3 days the most was 6 and that was my cross.

I grew up without a father in the projects with a mother who didn't give a shit about what I did.
I made some mistakes, but I've made it. I became employed in my career before I have even graduated. I make great money and have nice provided insurance from my company and am saving for the first of our few houses with my fiancee. She has moved up where she works and is making a great deal more than she used to. She has worked her ass off and is soon to become management which means she will make even more money.
Yep. I look at it like this. If you try hard enough you can make it. Buck would like to think that this doesn't apply to black people, but tell that to some of my black classmates who are already employed in our field as well cause they took the initiative to study Computer Networking and make something of themselves. I have no sympathy for people who don't try. If something knocks you down, get back up, this is America and everyone no matter of color can make it in this country with a little effort.
