Yep. I look at it like this. If you try hard enough you can make it. Buck would like to think that this doesn't apply to black people, but tell that to some of my black classmates who are already employed in our field as well cause they took the initiative to study Computer Networking and make something of themselves. I have no sympathy for people who don't try. If something knocks you down, get back up, this is America and everyone no matter of color can make it in this country with a little effort.

My father was abusive ........ my mother left him for another abusive asshole ....... at 15 i was up and out and working ......... i have no sympathy for someone who doesnt try .... honestly i tried for foodstamps i have a 8 month old ....... he got sick and we took turns taking off work ...... i dont have someone i can borrow money from ...... my mom just got done with chemo she's worse off then we are ...... you know what though we made it through was never late on any bills ....... and you know what we did it with out one red cent handed to us

actually, in the study i referenced, i stated that blacks with the exact same resume as whites got 50% less callbacks.

you can feel free to exaggerate that in whatever misleading way you see fit, in fact that s probably your best bet since you have no legitimate argument otherwise.

but if you got 50% less callbacks because of your race, you'd be even more homicidal than you are when i troll you on the internet.

I probably didn't give it enough time then. If one doesn't even have a tap root by day 7 its done for me. Kinda like my cross took 6 days and it is deformed for some reason. Just doesn't seem to go well for me if I let it go past 5 days.

Naw, I believe it.
Not saying its right and I wouldn't do it when I open my business. I don't care about a name, the applicant didn't have no say so in that.

However, even though it may be discriminatory wouldn't it just make more sense to say this is the name I go by in order to at least get your foot in the door? But even at that point would they want to work for that company at that time? I would think not and they would move on at least I would.

I took advantage of people in my teenage years and when I grew up stopped doing that sort of shit I ended up on bad times, but my bad times ended 3 months later when I became employed again.

if you were black, you'd have been far more likely to have been busted for those cirmes, and if you wer black and got busted, you would have faced harsher sentencing than a white person on average.

but since you are white and never got caught, you have a better chance of getting a callback on your resume over a black man who never committed the crimes you did.

but hey, slavery ended so long ago, they should probably all just get over it, right? just break the cycle of poverty like you did, right?
