shack im so stoked man this grow will be killer!
AS AM I!! lmao it's finally here!! after all the careful planning and attention to detail, hope it all pays off. i'll be needing your guidance later for the LST. when it gets to be time.

hey man looks great , the only suggestion i have , is that i have been told it works better if you let the seeds germinate in the dark. i usually use a black bowl because it will trap the heat in there and it attracts it. just some stuff i had heard but it looks like its going fine , hope to see some cool shit pop up soon. oh yeah and your name always makes me laugh because i have seen that episode " my name !? ...Rusty Shackleford!"
that black pot is blocking out most of the light. i just have the lamp on to keep it warm in there. its just shy of 80 with it on. without, it's around 67. i'll keep a close eye on them.
it's taken awhile for the name to catch on, you and 400HPS (i think thats their name) just recently caught on, took you guys long enough!! lol
don't go sharing my alias!!!
so far so good
my thoughts exactly. looking forward to some sprouts!! haha i wish real life happened in RIU time. it seems every other hour you check someones grow and there is awesome progress. then all the grows run together, and it feels like everyone is flowering in a week and harvesting two days later. haha... does that make sense?

anyway. just getting anxious!!

they look similar to rapid rooters. my guess is composted/compressed tree bark or compressed peat. not rockwool.

just had a thought. i still have my AG lying around and plenty of "pods" leftover. i might take a few cuttings from lower branches, and clone/flower in the AG... hmm...
learned my lesson las time though, once they get roots. START 12/12 lol might be worth it for the extra nugs. or maybe transplant them and mini SOG after this grow is done, using my tent.. hmm.. random thoughts while smoking a cig! still need these bitches to sprout!

PS
Just checked Liza has cracked!! Gwen's taproot is already starting to extend. Should have roots/sprouts very soon!

hell yea man, dont let that AG collect dust, throw some clones in thre once the time comes, you can always start them in the AG and transplant into soil too if you wanted

you're party cup grow is my inspiration. i'd like to clone 2 cuttings from each plant, and after harvesting the tent. put the clones into cups and mini SOG. My concern is that i don't have a place for them to hang out in between cloning and going into the tent... although!! i could transplant them into cups and flower alongside this grow.. and let them bask in the light after THIS harvest... does that make sense?

I think naming them is good idea, for the vibes, also to just keep track of them!
Gwen has a nice healthy root going and the stem towards the seedcoat is already turning slightly green. Liza is a slow starter, just barely pushing out a taproot.

I do have concerns though. Gwen's root/stem as curved over and the seed/coat itself is aimed downward into the rooting plug. She is a plant though, and a strong one at that, from what I've seen so far, she turn herself around eventually?

I want to avoid messing with her unless ABSOLUTELY necessary!
your thoughts?

Scratch that concern. Liza is pushing out a great tap root now and Gwen has come around and her seed will probably break the surface by tomorrow morning! SWEET! Sprouts by this weekend!!

So as promised here are some pictures. No more iPhone photos from this point. Got my digital camera out and maxxed out the resolution. Can you guess which is which? lol

They're about 6-10" away from the hood and doing well it seems. I took some pieces from my MILES of leftover panda (used in making the tent) and gave them some covers. The root was visible from the little seed hole and I didn't want the light to disturb them.

PS
The scariest part of this grow is behind me now. Germination is so stressful.. oh the anxiety :spew:
