I couldnt find the original thread I had after the RIU Meltdown so heres an update on a new thread.
The "pink thing" pics are where I topped the Sweet N' Sour Blueberry = (Blueberry x SweetTooth) x Sour Diesel.
It seems its the inside of the plant with no skin/bark on it.
It was dripping sticky amber syrup out of the pink butt cheek thing. I tasted it and it was the sugars the plant made oozing out, it was sweet.
Now it started on another phenotype in the buds. (SEE PIC).
Wierd man. Just wierd.

Are the pink parts hard to the touch? It looks like the plant has an infection of some sort. Definately pretty crazy looking but I wouldn't encourage doing much with the pitch.

So, what's your take on the Pink stuff?

Could it be some type of fungus or disease?

I've seen a lot of things, including something similar a few times, but nothing was ever pink.

*edit
Too bad you didn't clone it.
Maybe re-veg it and see if it does it again!

I've seen fungal infections looks like that but a different color. That pink is pretty nutty.

It is definitely a canker of some sort.

def. some sort of fungus inhibiting proper growth of the cell walls for where you topped it, is it mushy or soft? how is she holding up as well as the growth above the topping? try to get some sort of anti-fungal that capable of working in the soil.

please dont smoke the pink thing. if you can find a way to get it tested that is what you should do. it is one of the four a fungus, bacteria, virus or genetic mutation. if its a genetic mutation it is probably the plant version of cancer which is what i think of when i see that crazy shit. if this is the case it would be safe to smoke. the mutation itself could have affected the genes that produce THC making it very potent but this is like a one in a million thing and breeding with it may not transfer the genetic mutation in the same way. next if it is a virus fungi or bacteria it will be loaded with bad things to smoke that could poison you or worse and cooking with it make not get rid of all the toxins. i dont know where you are located but me i might chance cutting a piece of the brain off and putting it under a microscope or taking it to a local greenhouse and say it was growing on my oak tree (maybe wash off the smell? and not let them go any where with it, and not a local one either)
