OBAMA RATED 5th BEST PRESIDENT IN OUR HISTORY

What is this? seems like approval rating of Obamacare? So we see numbers as low as 35 percent with an error rate of what again?

This sort of polling is suspect unless we first see the method of polling and the questions.

Beyond that, you are going to have to factor in another set of variables. The first is how well informed are those being polled. We know that there has been a massive and very well funded campaign of misinformation led by health insurance companies who are funding or have funded front groups and the front groups are managed by PR firms. The health insurance companies have spent hundreds of millions of dollars on these campaigns for years now. The last large assault was just before Moore's "Sicko" was in general release.

This sort of thing goes back as far as the 1990 and so has a lingering effect all by itself. Check out the Healthcare Leadership Council - formed in 1990. O)r the Jackson Hole group. Or the Alliance for Managed Care. At the time the HLC was a major player in beating back Clinton's plan. APCO was a big player in changing the masses perceptions of Obamacare - and our current healthcare system for the latest round of attacks.

It is unwise to rely on polling data if those polled have been heavily influenced by PR firms, front groups, think tanks of dubious origin, pumped opinion pieces, pro-industry stances by radiocons and Fox shills and an unkmown volume of internet seeders.
I apologize. I meant to include a link. If you follow the link, you will see that hundreds of polls (I did not count them) starting in 2010 until the present day had the same result, and a handful had results that showed popular support for ACA. There is no honest way to spin these results to pretend that ACA has ever been popular.

If a democrat wins the white house after Obama is out he will do something no Democrat has done since before the civil war.

No democrat has won an election to become president when the last sitting president was also a democrat. Two times in that span a democrat has become president upon the death of another democratic president (Truman after Roosevelt, and LBJ after JFK) has done.

So, since 1857, no non-incumbent democratic president has won the first term when the previous president was also a democrat.

Typically the country has been so sick with democrats after 4 or 8 years that they take a Republican.

Quite true. I think the country is ready to swing the pendulum back to the right. The only pleasure I take in that is that the likes of our resident left-wing loons will have heart palpitations as a result.

By the way, BnB, you are roundly criticized on RIU but I enjoy your posts and your clear thinking. Don't let the bastards grind you down, and don't for a minute think that they represent any sort of consensus.

There is know doubt they called this right. Obama is Americas worst president.
Yep. I doubt if there is more than a handful of folks in this thread that got the math and gist of it.

Uncle BFuckup is doing his usual mindless racist mantra, folks are hitting their bong and going off topic....... and the RIU shit-fer-brains band plays on.

You are missing the point, yes, it is likely accurate, but the insurance companies have had a hand in this opinion from the begining, they have altered public opinion, I mentioned some of the players and the span of time. This has nothing to do with spinning the poll, it has to do with spinning the public that participated in the poll.

When are you going to come and dance with us Ben? You have yet to defend this drive by spew with anything but single lines of scorn. I dare say you probably can't.
