looks good but get that thing covered up, you dont want some algae growin in there
the clone tub is still clear and no signs of algae, plants and roots look real healthy.

pic of the two clones.
Hey Steve...

I would certainly listen here...

You are lucky that you don't have issues yet... keep it that way...

Once it starts, it's almost impossible to get rid of....

You have done a wonderful job with the grow and the clones....

Don't set yourself up for trouble...

Best of Luck Mate...

well its 17 days since my last post and the main 3 plants are 5 weeks 2 days into flower. the clones are roughly 4 weeks old since rooting and have been pruned down twice to keep them under the ag hood on the second to lowest height setting. they are now in a black version of the clear tub. haven't really messed around with any changes on nutes, just been keeping the status quo.

Hi Steve

Great Journal mate. I'm also from the UK and I'm in the process of putting a similar set up together. Seems to be alot more expensive to buy all the components here in the UK, I've spent approx £500 so far including the AG which seems very expensive but I don't do things in halves so I made sure it was all top gear lol. I've used two main websites for my stuff growell.co.uk & hg-hydroponics.co.uk. Just got to wait for everything to be delivered now!!

I've got 3 feminised skunk #1 seeds and a growing space height of 52" (not including the space the AG base and hood will take up)

I plan to clone in a similar home made aeroponic system to yourself and then transfer these to the AG when they are half way through the Vegging stage. Do you think it's possible to use all 7 AG pods for Flowering? And considering the space I have would you think I'd get a better yield from say 4 plants with more space to grow rather than cram 7 in the AG?

Cheers

MD

Hey man I just got done reading everything. All i can say is thats awesome! my aerogarden comes in two days and I have been reading all of these forums for like 3 days straight hahah I live in america and am also uemployed so I need something to do! My only decison that is hard to make concerns lighting ? I found a cfl light 125 watt with red and blue spectrum for 29.99 and I was gonna buy it is that what you recomend if im trying not to spend 100 bucks on lighting? Again thanks for all the help already

thanks mark. what i'm doing now is using the ag to start clones and veg them a bit and then use the home made diy bubbler to flower one plant. the diy bubbler holds 6l and the ag holds about 4.5l. the ag just doesn't have enough room for root mass if your are doing more than one plant in it. so in answer to your last question, i would just grow one plant in the ag to maturity and yes i do think you would get better quality and quantity. all the best.

hi theelite. if you aren't restricted by heat issues use an hps. if you do use the cfl you will need a reflector for it. beware tho, these big cfls do get hot so ventilation is a must.
