Nice grow GroErr. Nice frosty looking nugs. The PPP looks like shes almost done, maybe one more week?
Hey aphrodisia, will be doing an update later tonight w/pics once the lights come on. Did a quick check of the buds last night and JTR is pretty well done, lower/smaller buds are done and showing the odd amber coming in, most of the top buds are done as well, a couple can go another day or two. JTR's a 7-9 week strain depending on the source and finished in 58 days last round. Looking like 50-52 days this round. PPP is a 9-11 week strain, it's frosting up but still a lot of clear so I'm thinking another 7-10 days I'm guessing right now, that would put it at about 8 weeks + a couple of days so still earlier than the breeders stated flowering time :)

Here are a couple of pics from last night at week 7/Day 49, notice the smaller/lower JTR buds are pretty well perfect maturity (I like cloudy with just bits of amber starting to show). The largest (2nd) JTR bud pic is about the least mature on JTR. The hairs on JTR have turned brown while PPP's white hairs are just starting to turn brown (it has some red that are just part of the pheno/strain). The colas that aren't supported by the trellis are sagging from the weight, will definitely be blowing away those LG LED buds in weight. Cheers :bigjoint:

That's what I like to see, very frosty, and that cola looks nice and thick. Definitely up for what the dry weight would be :-).

Thanks, JTR is a frosty beatch, I'm guessing 3-4 times the 22g's I pulled from its mother, PPP is living up to its producer billing, nice donkey dick colas with 1 1/2 weeks to go :) Will rig up something for perspective on those top colas/buds when I take the pics tonight, they're a decent size for the original size of the plants, these were the "runts" coming into flower ;) Can't wait to get a full footprint in there in a couple of weeks, the veg cabinet is wall-to-wall with 5 plants in there, gotta move one Blue Dream into a separate cabinet later this week. Will make some room for the rest to stretch out and flip the 4 remaining PPP's/JTR to 14/10 for 8-10 days to induce the stretch before putting them into the flower room @ 12/12... Busy week coming up, gotta get the cloner setup to clone these vegging plants next weekend.
:hump: Lovin this CMH rig :hump:

Well, good week again. Day 50 of 12/12.

This light has impressed me throughout and didn't let me down at the end. JTR is ready imo, most buds have some signs of amber coming in, the rest are ripe and feel dense/heavy.

Will pull it Monday or Tuesday night, leave it in the dark for about 36-48 hrs, then hang it to dry.

PPP continues to swell and frost up. It's supposedly 9-11 weeks so I'm thinking 8 1/2 - 9, another 10 - 14 days. It'll be getting tremendous amount of light, that should speed things up ;)

So far, so good, knocked off close to a week for JTR and will be significantly more weight than the mother it came from, basically only difference being the lights. Will update some pics of the harvested JTR this week. Think I found my primary flowering rig ;)

Last pics of the two together:

PPP, a ways to go but strong and thirsty:

JTR, 2 more days under the lights & good to go, 1st 2 are tonight Day 50, last one is a lower bud @ Day 49:

Fuck yes bro!!! Killin it.
Thanks Bubba, give these lights a stable environment and they make it easy. I'd suggest running them around 14-16" above the canopy, got some burn/bleaching on the top leaves running it @12" or so. Going to move them up next round, and have more than enough plants coming up to fill a 3x3, maybe 3.5 x 3.5 will see what coverage looks like at 16" and decide how many I throw in and final footprint, should be awesome. Just have another 10 days or so for PPP to finish, that one should pull some nice weight, it'll have the light to itself for the last 10 days or so :)

I have 1 Horizontal of the Phillips 315 4K Mogul base on a Rail for my 18/6 Veg room & works great ! & 2 Horizontal & rail that replaced my 1000 hps for heat & wattage usage.. I run all 3 at 220 vt about 10 inches above plants. for a month so far love them so far so good... they are Phillips ballast but my local shop assembled them I put them in nice housing with plugs & power switch...Ballast, Bulb, Wiring for 1 unit complete was under $400..... $35.00 Reflector & your ready to rock !

Hey i70 thanks for the post, sounds like a great setup, very interested to hear how the veg light works (4200k right?). Definitely thinking of running a 240v circuit to shave off 40-50W of unnecessary power draw, but even with the 120v setup it's well worth it to me, not even comparable to what I had previously.

Interesting that you're running that close, I found some bleaching of the top canopy and burn starting around week 4/5 @12-14", going to run them higher next round to see the difference and penetration being a little higher. But my reflector is literally lined with what looks like a mirror (LEC Sun System), that could be causing it for me being that close. Cheers.

Some last shots of JTR, Day 52, moved it before lights on & took some pics. Will sit in the dark for another 36-48 hrs. will chop it Thursday morning or evening.
Finished very nicely, got some good shots of the buds, iced up well, going to be fire this one :fire:

JTR harvest day :hump: 52 days under the lights, 48 hours in the dark, she's a heavy beatch, the buds are as dense as I've seen, indoor or outdoor, rock hard. Should be interesting to compare (density, not weight, the outdoor plant I have is at least twice this size) against an outdoor JTR which is about 6-7 weeks away from harvest.

Nice one mate. Good haul you got there by the looks of it. I would guess youre looking at roughly 2.5 to 3 oz dry, depending on density.

Thanks aphro, it's looking good, since this JTR strain is not considered a high yielder and the plant wasn't very big going into flowering, I'm pretty happy with the outcome. Can't wait for it to dry so I can trim it up and the the final dry weight. My guess is somewhere between 70-90g's as well but we'll let the scales tell the final story. Like I mentioned above, have rarely seen that density even in outdoor, only time I've seen that sort of density outdoor was in years when we had a couple of weeks of cool nights towards end of September and no frost until the beginning of October. This was also a summer run so I couldn't get the room below 70F lights-off, the winter runs could be better when I can drop the lights-off temps down into low-60's for the last couple of weeks.

very nice! how are the lower buds? are they larfy at all?
Cheers typo, the centre/lower buds are just as dense as the top buds, smaller of course but just as dense. Gave them all a squeeze and there's no give, solid as a rock. That should translate into some extra weight. The only real "popcorn" I noticed once I pulled it was right at the bottom and towards the centre of the plant where they weren't getting much light at all. The last 2 pics I posted earlier were from bottom branches that stuck out a bit so they got good light, those were real popcorn size & very fluffy under the LED's last round, this time they're regular size buds and dense :) After seeing how dense the JTR buds were, gave the PPP buds a squeeze and they're just as dense, which is great because they're much bigger buds :bigjoint:

very nice! never once heard anyone say that about bud density with led no matter what unit they were running.

nope they aren't but i still haven't seen much for density with other leds either. at least not anything that cost less than $2000.

I got dense rock hard buds from a 155w a51 led that cost me $400. 2 plants about 6 zips 9lb hammer and jillybean. Coke can size buds. Several people on here have done just as well or better. People are killing with the diy cree cobs.
