Buddy that really is an insane grow!! to keep all the leaves green and going and also warding off mites its really is an impressive grow.
The buds on this girl will last for atleast 2-3 months for you!! just take good care of it.
I guess both of our grows are at par... so we'll be harvesting more or less at the same time.

Thanks, man. I didn't take pics of the better buds, but your plant is def ahead of mine. I'm stoked it came out pretty big. I think the hose made a big difference with the mites, but it would be some real shit if she dies before fully budding(like your old one). I was thinking, tho.. when a plant is in a vegetative state, shouldn't it remain that way as long as it stays under that light cycle? I guess it's pretty much 12/12 year round, with the weather being the main difference.. I also wonder about these landrace life cycle in general? Like, in they natural surrounding, do they stay alive and bud seasonal, or do they die and new one's sprout? Sounds like something I should know by now lol.
I wish I did my online order when I said I would.. I'm sure I would've got em to flower and start pollinating by now. I'll get there, soon.. How about you? Planning on trying some hybrids?

Yea... being growing for the third year I've pretty much figured out the grow season.
No matter which month you plant.... make sure its grown enough for budding stage by november
cuz its Nov-Dec-Jan-Feb months which flowering and budding takes place.
So the ideal time to plant Indian strains would be in June-July-August. That gives you good 3-4 months to grow and take care of the plant.
The moment winter sets and days become shorter (Late Nov, Early Dec) the plant begins to bud. Since its the early stage, you can make out the gender
and get rid of the males and continue to work on the females.
So if anyone is planning to plant now don't do it... wait till July-Aug. That way you won't waste time and effort keeping it from pests and mites till winter.

Yea... once I'm done with this grow... wouldn't mind on starting hybrids.

Yea man. I started mine around April or May. Unfortunately, the sun doesn't quite hit my balcony during the month leading up to monsoon, till around the end of monsoon. Most my plants struggled cause of that, plus the early, heavy, consistent rains. This plant had more of an established root system, in a bigger pot.. I think that helped? But yea.. def gonna do something like a SOG or w/e to keep the colas low and angled towards the sun, next round. Also, blinds of some sort to block the street lights! Them shits really seemed to have fucked up my cycle -__-
has your plant started flowering?
Yea dude. The upper half is taking a long ass time, tho...
How'd the WW and AK turn out? You got anything in the works atm?

well i started what i thought was an auto in early nov. hempy outdoors. it never autoflowered, kept growing for about three months, tried some light dep in last week of jan and it worked, started flowering first week of feb and going along nicely so far. so i dont really know what strain it is, was supposed to be an auto-bomb or big bang auto but it never autoflowered so its kind of a mystery. will post pics soon

I've sampled one bud last week. Cut, dried and cured. Gave me a nice subtle buzz.... not a stoner high but a good clean buzz.
So maybe I'll start harvesting after 15th.:weed:

There are trichomes but just near the stem where the leaf starts.
I expected trichomes all over the leaf but that hasn't happened yet they get sparse as you reach halfway (of the leaf).

Nice! Right now, mine has a stoney, yet uplifting, thought provoking kinda high, but the bud is still under developed.. The high is not too strong, nor long lasting. I won't grow a plant this big at this place, again.. Such a bitch to handle(esp covering at night), and light doesn't spread efficiently. Proper early topping and LST would have helped, but I'll only do hybrid clones, until I can get a proper outdoor spot.
Looks like a monster
Somehow, she reminds me of Shiva from MK III:neutral:
Dude, I seen your Sativa's in the outdoor thread. Looks nice! Are those pure Mexican?

Need to start next batch (pics of previous success coming soon :D)
I am looking to pick up something like the Mandala Safari mix. I know elchu has tried growing these, but I haven't seen detailed reports anywhere. Are these seeds good? (I am looking for a mix of strains - some Indica dom, some Sativa dom)
BTW, does anyone know what the pineapple pheno is? (Is the pineapple smell different from the regular citrus/mango smell?)

I really don't want to hijack the thread but as I am an Indian and the my question can be answered by an Indian only.

I shifted to a new home last month and I found these plants growing in my backyard.

Its possible that its just some local plant which looks alike cannabis or its really cannabis which was grown by the previous residents.

If its really cannabis, do I need to do something to take care of it? as I would love to enjoy some home grown pure weed.

I think Chupacabra brought up the Kalichakra, before? Well, that and Satori were 2 Sativa dom strains that had me interested.. No idea about their Safari mix, but seems you'll have to do some real pheno hunting to find that from the mix.
Some strains I'm looking at for my conditions:
Sannie- Jackberry
Dinafem- Blue Widow, Blue Hash
Dutch Passion- Jorge Diamonds, Hollands Hope
KC Brains- KC 33, KC 36, Leda Uno, etc..
Soo many more breeders/dank strains out there.. it's mind fucking! Really wish I had the space....
