You can flush salts out of soil (if you use nutrients that produce salts), but you can't flush anything out of flowers

First you have to realize you have not seen some of these rock stars grows and their trees. Most would put the legends to shame here.
Second you can starve the plant and flush synthetic nutrients from the soil but this does not "flush the plant" itself...just the soil. Lots and lots of threads about flushing in here and lots of info on the web about the true science of it. Many actual studies have been done on this subject.
Third.... you can not flush every soil especially if it's a living organic soil like I use. It's slow time released ferts that takes months to break down by the benificial microbes in the soil. I could give them nothing but water the whole grow and they are fed from start to finish.
With that said ...welcome back to the forum. It's a great place to learn.

False...you need to do more researching on flushing, and I would love to see some pictures of plants that are as good or close to as good as legendary old school growers who still have their operation up right now, all my friends flush their weed, I have a few friends who also sell their weed here in LA, their blowing up right now with the dankest live buds, follow @growwbacca on IG, you’ll see what I’m talking about. Flushing is good for plants because roots will take up as much nutes from the soil as they can to swell up the buds and also have stored nutrients that need to be depleted from the plant hence the top younger leafs stealing from the old leaves carrying nutrients, it’s called flushing for a reason... read about it.

Do Roots Stop Growing In Flowering?
Do roots stop growing at some point? My instinctive thought was that roots will keep growing throughout the plant's life... yet I read a lot of shit on boards saying that roots stop growing during flowering. Any thoughts?

I have a friend here in LA growing his backyard of his home in big fabric pots, plants look just like yours. Also I’ve seen humongous plants, blanketed in trichomes. It’s not new to me lol.

You just said false... you never commented about organic soils. So you think that your able to flush my soil? Or that I should... its bro science. I've read for yrs both sides of the debate. I've also read a lot of studies on the subject. This is the reason I dont grow with synthetics. I dont need or have to flush because I'm not over feeding.

and BTW this RX or w e pharmaceutical company is testing it in coco, LOL! That’s a big difference from organic soil which has the most flavor and terps. I don’t trust RX companies btw, they are poisoning people and their blasphemous with their Greek mythology base.

Lol it has nothing to do with over feeding, that’s for leaching nutrients from “over feeding” this is a harvest flush. Yes I could flush your soil aka your root zone and yes I think you should for smoother and tastier nugs, that come out as white ash when you smoke it, not black ash and buds filled with residue when you smoke it, black ash as in it’s not even burnt all the way, even though a flame is on it.

This proves my point. You cant flush my soil. It's impossible. How could you? Every time you add water you are feeding the plant. It's slow time releases dry nutes mixed in to everg square inch of my compost. Along with several layers of top dressing. Even without the nutes in there...I grow in compost...so it's like feeding it compost tea every time I water.

But when science came in and actually tested the plant tissue there was NO SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENCE. So that is saying what I was saying earlier and it was PROVEN. flushing is only for the soil not the plant itself. So I will believe what is fact over what somebody just believes or thinks.

No lol this proves my point, you said it’s “impossible” to flush your soil , so that means you can’t heavily water the ground you’ve planted in to leach nutrients from the “root zone” deeper in the ground, so what your saying the nutrients are unlimited and infinite and stay in the soil forever and it cat be leached or even at that moved deeper?
