Hey all i live just east of Toronto and it is starting to get cold at night but I think I still have 2 weeks before I can pull my last 2 plants for the year. What is everyone else's opinion. I generally like to go with 15-20% amber on the trichs. Thank in advance for the advice. Happy growing

Wait it out. Im near london on myself. The weather is suppose to warm up next week. Goodluck
Yeah thats what I was thinking. My other 2 plants matured quicker than expected. Like I said I figure the week after Thanksgiving I should be good with these 2. I'm going to flush them over that time.

Seeing from those pics it looks like it’s close to flushing but can wait maybe another few days or so

Thats what i was thinking. As well. And the weather is supposed to get really warm over the next couple of weeks. So I'm going to flush for week and then slowly start to strip the fan leaves so it doesn't take me so long to trim when I harvest.
I like everything you said, except the part about flushing. Removing the fan leaves as they die off makes it easier to trim though. I'm just not a believer in flushing, unless you're trying to get shit outta your soil due to some toxic condition. But the Flushing topic is a Hot one, lol.

A bunch of legendary old school growers flush their big plants outside that are in the “ground” you don’t think flushing is necessary for plants in pots? Think about it?

And they swear by it, stating that it does make for a cleaner, smoother and more out standing taste.

I have never done it in the past and I have just finished pulling 2 7 foot plants so I figured I would try to flush these 2 just to compare. Learn as I go.

These 2 are in the ground and stand between 7' and 8'. They are a cross strain but the person who gave me the seeds actually crossed the strains himself years ago but can't remember what he crossed with one of the kush strains. So like I said I'm going to try the flush to see if there is a difference.

There will be a difference I’m sure, these people have never heard of plant cannabilization I guess lol. Flushing takes out excess nutrients from the plant and the plant gets it from older leaves below. Your flushing the nutrients out the soil, the plants roots don’t get nutrients just water the plant cannabilizes older leaves for its nutrients, 1st signs will be yellowing and death of older leafs good luck Bro!

It sounds like you're growing outdoors in the ground. You can't flush anything out of the soil really anyways if that's the case. If you were in coco, sure you could flush the shit outta the plant and starve it if you wanted, but that makes no sense to me. Why starve the poor girl when she's still trying to get fatter.

uhh yes you can your flushing nutrients out from the root zone it’s still leaching the nutrients.....and the poor girl is not starving like I said it, plant cannibalization , dude it’s a WEED plant, it tends to survive over harsh environments etc. and she’s not getting anymore fatter that phase is done buddy.
