sad as it is..... many people have no idea where the food they eat comes from, how it grows, or gets on their plates. I live out in the sticks and i work at a local farm the questions people ask about plants are completly out of this world????? My whole world revolves around growing things and i work for a number of people who just let me create a beautiful garden around them, they dont want to get dirty they just want to see the plants grow around them.

Sorry to be so off topic but this get me going, and i get crazy! You grow is looking very nice and i love how the plants appear to be almost bonsi like. This is a wonderful and very informative thread cant wait to see what ya get!! The bubble hash sounds interesting also iv been reading about that. great job!!!

Thanks BillyBob, You and this site have been helpful. If people just read a little bit you can learn a lot. I read a lot of the newbie stuff and FAQ's before I started posting. I have a friend who thinks he's Dr. GreenThumb but his grow tastes like shit and barely gets you high. So I figured if I'm gonna grow then...., Do it right! Any ways you have been very helpful and your Scrog is bad ass! I'll update mine in a few days. They are growing well..

GreenGro- I wouldnt trim any leaves at your stage. u want as much vegetation right now so ur plants can use em as solar panels. If you feel you must trim, just cut the tips of each finger on the fan off. this will freee up some shade and still leave the fan there for the plant to use. And thanks everyone for the kind words, im glad yall like my grow.

Thanks billybob, I thought i ought to leave them there but wasn't sure. When do you decide its time to cut what gets in the way?

I bet your a great gardener then! not everyone can work with and know everything about plants tho can they, otherwise you wouldn't have any experts at anything else.

I really didnt trim anything until week 2 of flowering. then i went apeshit and trimmed everything that didnt need to be there, under the screen on top everything. now i need to do a little trimming in the screen to open up new budsites coming.

after drying is done, i place them into big mason jars. i have a goatload of like mason jars that hold 2-3 ounces each. for the first week i open the jar 3-4 times a day to let fresh air in. and once every 2 days i will take all the nugs out and then put them back in in a different order. after the first process is done and i feel like most of the moisture has been sweated out, i will open the jars once every day or 2. after 3 weeks of curing i feel most the time its ready to smoke. but of course the longer u cure the better it gets. i wil have new pics tonight. shit is lookin NASTY

i think you said something about panda film, do you prefer panda or mylar? i don't know if there is an intense debate over which is better, but i would like some peoples' opinions on which reflects light better. Panda or mylar?

lol i was in a rhyming mood earlier. and i wanted to nut on my girls. anways i could drop the lights but i noticed the outside budsites in the corners and edges dont get as much light. its pretty damn intense, they are only about a foot and half maybe foot and 8 inches above the top sites. the mh is about a foot away. i havent changed the height in 7 weeks or so, when i did i raised it 3-4 inches.

As for the panda film. I feel it is quite superior to mylar. maybe not in reflectiveness, but not by much. but the ease of use. you can line all your surfaces and keep everything clean. its sooooo easy to clean. like one day i came into my room and something had malfunctioned on the controller. water was pooled everywhere! but none leaked onto the carpet. Fixed the problem and only outcome was a few wet towels. If i hadnt of had the plastic there, I dont even wanna think about it. Its very easy to work with unlike mylar. mylar is a bitch IMO. I wont ever use it again.
